Love the old country towns, I could quite happily live in one away from suburbia.
It's quite a nice little town to visit. Been there twice, spend the night at the Millmerran Village Caravan park with my family, quite cold at night in winter time. It's a lovely place away from this mess.
My Mum grew up in Rocky Creek, and lived for a few years in Millmerran with her sister before marrying Dad and moving away. When I was little, I went walk-about there, no idea why!!!. But a man came out of a house and found me. He rang my aunty and said " Is Trishi here, I think I found her daughter?" Many memories.

Also, have you been to Helidon? Has a natural mineral spring that had products sold by what is now known as Kirks. Was also a cult there apparently.
@Shell have passed by Helidon may times on the highway going to Toowoomba, but never stopped off to explore. Am very keen to do so, especially now that you've told me there was a cult there. I've put it on my list! Have you ever thought of making your own videos? That way I could return the favour of commenting.
@WalkaboutWithRob definitely worth having a look. As for me doing videos, I'm afraid my life isn't that interesting, and I'm what they called a wallflower back in the day, not wanting to be noticed. I couldn't be natural in front of the camera like you are, but thank you kindly for offering ☺️

The "Inland Rail" project doesn't get much publicity and I was of the opinion that it was just Pie-in-the-Sky Election propaganda. But a friend assures me that his young fellah has been working as an engineer on it for quite some time. Most work so far has been on upgrading existing corridors in inland NSW. The full implementation will take some time but there seems to be a general will to continue the project.
