I like the Chat GPT-4 picks. All three watches have a distinctive style, and a G-Shock is essential to any three watch collection.

My personal pick for value budget dress watch is a vintage Timex Marlin. I got one freshly serviced from another redditor for $85 USD.
The question you failed to ask is, where to buy the recommended watches at the prices quoted? That is where the AI should be able to leverage its’ internet searching facilities and save you the trouble.
Me personally I would always go for the Casio World Timer. A bit more presence on wrist, 100M of water resistance, more functions and only a bit more expensive than the F-91W. Also available on bracelet or rubber strap.

Personally I’d have picked the Timex Marlin for the smaller wrist dress watch. Usually goes for around £120-£140, mechanical movement, really classy 1950s look and vintage era sizing. It’s been my personal favourite for a year now, for events and in the office.
Also is a low key strap beast, looks great on a natos and tan leather for casual weekend outfits.
I personally think that the F91W and its successors should always be replaced with the Casio World Time, especially on a larger wrist. It looks better, feels better, has more functions.

US Walmart has Casio G-Shock DW5600 for under $49 currently. You can mod the "time" out of it with a bully bar, paint, and a sheet of polarizing film...as I plan to do

That was interesting and I think it shows how Timex, as a brand, probably deserves a little more credit than it tends to receive from collectors. I think if I were to buy someone a watch who is just getting into watches, the timex weekender is a fairly solid choice.
Either the Humen lang wrist picks or ChatGPT4 with the digital G-Shock, it's a nice little diverse collection.

I have to disagree with you on the Weekender Chrono. I find it better than the time only Weekender in every way. True, I may be missing the simplicity, but it might be perhaps too simple. Realigning misaligned hands is really a matter of five minutes of googling for a 70$ watch, so that's a non-issue. Or if you buy it from an official retailer, there might even be a manual included. What is an issue for me, that the split time function doesn't always work.
Still, it's a very pretty watch and I get a lot of compliments on it.

Funny I tried this a while ago and I was really surprised that Ai suggested me some micro brands also like Zelos, Nodus, Sigma and etc.
I put a higher budget the 300€ though.I used chatgpt from open AI by the way.

I told AI to pick mine. 3 watches with a $150 budget one for casual wear, one for dress wear, and one for everyday wear. It suggested Dressing Up: Seiko Men's SNK793 Automatic Stainless Steel Watch, Casual: Timex Weekender Chronograph Watch, Everyday Wear: Casio G-Shock DW5600E-1V
Interesting video, what the AI doesn't and arguably can't do is take taste into a count. The only watch mentioned that I own is the SNK809. The only ones I could see me using are the Casio three hander, the 1963 (and thats purely for the looks) and the Bambino, so thats 2-1 to you
How about a black Invicta pro diver (Seiko NH35), a Seiko SNXS77 (Rolex killer) and a Casio AE1200WHD (" Casio royale" has GMT and Chrono)?
I can't help but think that everyone who complains about the Timex Weekender's "loud" tick has a hard time sleeping. I quite often wear my Weekender to bed, and the ticking never bothers me. In fact I find it somewhat soothing.

I like your selection for larger wrists, but I just can’t find a Duro for an acceptable price here in Slovakia, and with all the import fees the price is once again too high… I could get one without the swordfish, but that just isn’t that special…
I think ChatGPT did quite well. I liked the inclusion of Timex, a brand I usually ignore. With inflation in mind, I’d have swapped out the DW5600 for the CasioOak G2100. I’d also have ditched the Bambino but I’ve never been into Orient watches.
As much as I love Casio, it's hard going for their stuff when most of their watches are at *least* 43-44mm minimum, and the ones that are less than that have been covered to death.

A square G-Shock doesn’t wear very large. Try it.
You could make the perfect 3 watch collection from Casio brands alone. SNK is a solid choice however, now not as easy to pick up at a reasonable price. Can't stand Timex ticks

I was lucky (and perhaps unlucky), and my fathers old Omega (1996) and my old Tag Heuer (2003) could still be fixed for a reasonable price. I did get 2 used Citizens though, as you talked about Citizen not so long ago.. I quite like them to be honest.

Been waiting for a Baby Duro for a very long time. I'd also like to see a day/date Duro, or an ana-digi Duro.
Honestly, at that budget, I would be looking at a two watch collection. My picks would be a 38 mm Bambino and a G-Shock GA-2100.
All things considered, I actually really like the GPT picks, but personally I would skip the Timex Chrono.

Without having watched any further, here's my problem with the Bing Collection:
If you want a 3 watch collection you probably want a beater, a dresser and a digital watch. The beater should provide decent water performance, be durable and depending on who you are probably the most expensive of the three (at least for me as an outdoorsy person), the dresser should look nice and dressy and be unobstrusively elegant. As for the digital watch... well take whatever you crave for as long as it's in your budget. I myself would choose an Armitron over a Casio all day but that's personal preference.
What Bing suggested was more like: 1 Digi (which is fine), 1 rather cheap and probably not that durable field watch and 1 very cheap analogue watch, which falls almost in the same category as the second one. It all seems like kinda thoughtlessly thrown together 1st page Google results...
