- Jake Muller is perhaps the most important new hero character to the events of the game, Resident Evil 6. Not only is Jake the biological son of the infamous sunglasses wearing baddie Albert Wesker, but through his father he's also heir to a powerful blood type which makes him a very sought after man. Jake's lineage has not only put a target on his back for a cure to the new C-Virus that has been ravaging the world, but also makes him a important piece of the puzzle for the woman who created the C-Virus and would like to improve on her work.

And Nemesis is better but he's always following but is fun too knock him down with good weapons.

Super human strength, heightened speed, agility, and perception, and a healing factor somewhere between Captain America and Wolverine... man, that would be awesome! Assuming that that's what we would get. Who knows, there might be complications or incompatibilities with the mix, but it's an interesting thought.

Ironically Jake looks 6 years older than Sherry. Jake looks remarkably old for his age.

Who is Jake Muller? He's proof that Wesker successfully continued his bloodline, unlike Chris.
In all seriousness, I also hope that we'll see him again. Yeah, the majority of the fanbase is lukewarm about him at best (to put it mildly), but perhaps, a better game than RE6 (not hard to do) with a better-written personality would do wonders for Jake's reception and popularity. I just hope that Capcom will finally do something with all the characters not named Chris or Leon already.
I freaking loved Jake's character, I had so much fun during his campaign and in mercenaries mode. If they brought him back, that'd be so sick!
Jake is a underrated character. Jake Muller was not a BSAA Hero, he’s a soldier for hire, raised to be a mercenary just to get by.
Its a very unique design for the Resident Evil franchise since he is the son of this crazed villain who wanted to spread global domination.
Seriously if resident evil 6 was all about Jake and Sherry I feel like it would have been a better success
I wonder why many people hate him, for me he's a good addition to the badass Chris and Leon but Capcom decided to disposed him after RE6. Actually I'll be happier if Jake re casts in RE7 and RE8 to continue the legacy but what Capcom does is they add an unknown protagonist that I really don't find interesting.
The change to an ordinary person such as Ethan Winters was the designers’ going back to its survivor horrors roots in terms of gameplay. A sense of helplessness and I’ll prepared for the environment around the character. Putting characters like Jake, Leon, or Chris would negate the survivor horror aspect as they are considered superhuman against the bio terrorist threats. In regards to Jake, I actually like him and agreed he does need his own game to further develop his character.

@@AshKrimson I agree with you. If we want more spooky style play like RE7 and RE8, i think bring civilian like Ethan is the right way to do it and heat up the atmosphere.
If it is action base zombie atk, Jack , chris, leon can do the job..
Either way, RE9 will be continuation of the trilogy since the director already mention this. So, we can only hope jake or leon in RE10 or another continuation of RE6 which name we not known
I didn't care for Ethan's character either. I would've been fine if he was the protagonist of one game, and maybe appeared again somewhere down the line, but then they made a trilogy of games, or more, centered around him. And it's not helped by the fact that there isn't much that's unique or interesting about him.

You're not alone.
Definitely would not trust this guy off the bat because of his status as a mercenary, not because of his lineage. Jake Müller and Sherri Birkin create the most interesting dynamic of the three teams in RE6 because of the legacy they both carry as the children of the main villains of the first three RE games. As for Albert Wesker knowing about Jake's existence, I would speculate it was similar to William Birkin only seeing value in Sherri for propagating the G-virus because of her similar DNA. Put another way, similar to Birkin, Wesker's obsession with creating and testing bioweapons would supersede being there for his family, regardless if the unknown Miss Müller had told him about Jake.
Here's a theory: the man who trained Jake Muller after Jake's mother passed away was HUNK.
1.) HUNK is one of the very few survivors of the raccoon city incident and he disappears afterwards.
2.) After RE2 he could have met Jake along the way as a rookie mercenary.
3.) He is the only one has been out of the picture for the longest time (besides carlos) and who is trained to survive BOW outbreaks especially on a catastrophic level like this. And judging by the fact that his training is extensive he is possibly the only candidate to exist to train Jake. I mean Jake survived RE6. Any BOW outbreak is a near impossible feat and HUNK would be one of those who would qualify.

I hope that with the introduction of Rosemary Winters. We can maybe get a Revelations or main series title including Jake, and Rose. Now this trend of "superhumans" who are born with their abilties and children of humans who turns suoer whether it be by virus or mold. We need some closure with Jake. While Re6 was an absolute disaster, Jake (edgy) sometimes was still a charecter with ALOT of potential, and was clearly being set up as the futute of the series. While i get that because of the feedback to RE at the time they did their soft reboot with Re7 with the Winters timeline. I just hate how little closure we'v gotten with Jake, especially with tbe plot twist of Jake being WESKERS SON. How do we just completely drop this entire person of importance?
I want that same thing to happen but have all 3 jake, rose and sherry considering all 3 of them are superhuman

He's an anti-hero at first, but becomes a good guy in the end.

Best new RE character in a while. He's got Wesker's physical strength without all the other OP powers Albert had. That means he's strong but still vulnerable, which makes a solid protagonist. Also, he's one of the few RE characters that can fight BOWs with his bare hands. When I think of RE melee campaigns, I think of Jake.

1:27 i had a theory on who Jake's mother was what if it was Rebecca Chambers? - and here is why in RE2 remake you can find a photo of Rebecca in Wesker's desk in a sports outfit, and she is smiling now why would Wesker have a photo of her? i don't know why maybe they were a couple and had a 1 night stand before the events of RE1? and after the mansion incident she fled racoon city Pregnant and knowing what kind of man Wesker was fearing he would come after them she changed her name to muller and moved to Edonia and here is another thing that could hint at her being his mother - Jake can play the piano really well and that was a thing Rebecca could do in RE1 isn't that a coincidence well maybe she taught him how to play while in Edonia and all that time she kept Jake hid because she was a afraid of Jake wanting to try and track down his father and or possibly getting caught up in Umbrella being his dad was a researcher for them not only that but a bad guy that made Bio-weapons using them

It would be interesting to see him in a Revelations or Outbreak style game. And with Village set to go into a snowy, Eastern Europe style location (i.e. where Edonia is set to be), it is possible we could see him running around when we play as Ethan Winters.
Doubt it. The majority of people didn’t like his character. Doubt capcom will come through to please just a few of us.
@@aft5264 yeah I agree many people didn't like him but for me their adventures together is the most part I always play along with Ada's mission. The two really brings a refreshing look on the game.

Who cares he was such a terrible character. I played as sherry and this entire game was garbage. I would travel back in time and ensure this game was never made.
I do not like the jake character at all and heres my attempt at explaining it for those who asked.
1. Weare side by side with our beloved charters as they evolve from humble beginnings into the badasses we know and love.
Jake being a prebuilt baddass feels cheap.
2. His arrogance and only care for money, leaves his character pretty hollow, and kind of just turns him into a stereotype.

Yeah! He works along with Leon and Chris fighting styles, Leon more on pistols, Chris with his rifle and Jake's melee combat prowess that is on par Chris.
