Do you know how long your windows can withstand a burglary attempt? In about 8 seconds! Rudimentary tools and a few simple movements - and the burglar has already gained access to your sacred halls. Burglar-proof windows from SILATEC buy you time. Considerably more time. Our burglar-proof windows of protection class RC2 resist burglars for just under 2 minutes. Our burglar-proof windows of protection class RC3 even longer. By the way, we don't know how long. So far, no one has lasted long enough.
    ▬▬▬▬▬▬ About Silatec ▬▬▬▬▬▬
We are a family business from Germany in the second generation and produce burglar-proof windows and bullet-proof glass. We are your contact when it comes to armored glass, security glass and burglary protection.
Why we are so good? First, we have developed a unique technology for security glass. Second (and this is at least as important): We love to smash glass. That's why we have this CZcams channel. Here we show you our glass tests and you can see for yourself what our safety glass can withstand. We also inform you about topics such as burglary protection, bulletproof glass and safety glass. As experts in these areas, we have prevented countless burglaries in 30 years. Feel free to ask us how you can protect yourself.

And ladies and gentleman just remember one thing the glasses that hard to break with sledgehammers and those guys that hard time getting in imagine how hard it's going to be for the firefighters who were trying to save your life because you're stuck in a burning building

Assuming you are awake and the window doesn't jam (which wasn't covered in this video), all you'd have to do is open the window and push out the screen then crawl through. If you aren't physically able to do that, you might want to get another kind of window system that firefighters can get through.

There is a company called Stihl with great tools for that. Remember: firefighter do not have to worry about bein spotted trying to break in. We have the right tools for the job. Either made by Stihl or Holmatro. 😈

So moral of the story is the hell is getting those crazy Windows would probably cost ridiculous to get for starts you'll be better off find out what your gun laws are for instance the state I live in the moment a person crosses the door or the window threshold I can legally shoot to kill so in other words what I'm getting at is I would just install an alarm system so them only glass break so the door is open beyond you know a certain point in the alarm starts going off I'm locked and loaded ready to go I'm shooting first and asking questions later and I'll also be more than happy to post on the door the sign that says the law that I'm talking about that allows me to shoot to kill first

That is a very American solution. Silatec operates from Germany. While we theoretically can possess firearms AND have some equivalent to stand your ground/ castle doctrine laws...firearm usage is very problematic. If the intruder wasn't armed...if you didn't fire a warning shot...if you didn't use the smallest caliber available....if you fired more than o e shot...you'd most likely go to prison for aggravated assault or manslaughter.
Firearms plus training aren't cheap either, so probably invest that money in some more resistant windows. And keep in contact with the neighbours.
