Season 1 Lily is so different from the rest. She seems like a really caring person and a lot less destructive from what she would turn later in the series. She seemed much more Marshall suited and less of a bitch, in my opinion. In particular I remember when she tells Robin "Jeez Louise love is not that difficult; you like him, he likes you and just-just be together!"
I've always felt that Robin had the biggest downfall. She was really cool and nice at the beginning but became a jealous, self-destructive mess towards the end
@@ananya4228I think Robin's downfall is much more rapid and quick as to me is for seasons 8 and 9, clearly by design of the writers. While Lily's change is more noticeable from Season 2 onwards, less prompt but progressive. She super angry at Ted for calling her a Grinch (wink wink), tampering with Ted's relations, etc...
