I didn't know this until last week but on iOS 13 you can turn off the ability for Siri to listen to you and track what you type (it literally says in the phone settings that this can be enabled in order to recommend other sites or products for you). You have to go into your phone settings and scroll down and deactivate that on every individual app. It works though. But I mean, yes. Of course our phones do that. Edit for boomers: you go to each app settings and then you tap on the one that says siri & search, it's at the top, and then you disable "Learn From This App" which is at the top after you hit siri
