@@danieldaponte1819 Grimmer patron, the 3/3 that summons a copy at the end of a turn and if you play it on turn 2 or 3 you usually just win the game or at least snowball tempo early. Even late game the card is good and now its in standard for some reason and has magnetic
I commented on Regis reveal video something along the lines "tell me one time where a card with 'this copies itself' was bad in HS". I knew this thing would be busted.
I still don't understand how people could underestimate so much lab constructor. If you really tough 4 mana copy itself at the end of every turn with every possible keyword was weak you are not playing hearthstone
Look at the turn 4 board in Game 1. And this is not that hard to pull off for that deck. Let's say it would be an easy board on turn 5. This should not exist...yeah he draw good and everything but DK is a deck with a strong early and good removal. He can discover blood rune cards to eliminate titans on a regular basis. And even this is too slow and too weak vs rogue. DK is a problem in istelf with his easy clear and strong discovers. But put this against a shaman. How will a shaman deal with this turn 5 board (counting coin like in Game 1) without completly fucking his next turn thanks to overload? Every class has ways to deal with those boards I know. But the problem is some decks just hit such strong plays way more often then the others have their answers. Yes priest has silence. But those are 2 cards in his deck most of the time. Rogue has at least 3 different combos to pull of that kind of board.
"But how can X deal with this high roll" is a pretty bad argument against a class that has no board clear. No one was complaining when Rogue just died because your opponent played a single card.
@@ArkansasF2P But that is the argument isn't it? It is not a high roll. It is a consistent turn 5. I got no problem dealing 3 dmg to a minion if I know I will deal another 3 next turn and kill it. But if I know it will just become a 7/7 again then it just isn't a matter of having board clear
@@ArkansasF2P Okay so a deck which would have 30 super good cards would only have high rolls? Or would you call it super consistent? Because I would call it consistent. I see a lot of people whining about "power creep" in the comments. Seriously, you guys need to read an explanation what the term means before throwing it around willy nilly. It does NOT mean: These new cards are stronger than these old cards. Two things need to be true for it to be power creep: 1. It needs to invalidate cards that are in the same format and lower meta diversity 2. The old cards that get crowded out need to have been relevant recently Both of these are not true about this expansion. At worst it invalidates decks/cards that have left the format years ago and even that is debatable.
What you're describing is not power creep either. The _creep_ part isn't just some random word thrown in: 'power creep' describes a longer process whereby the power level of cards ticks up gradually but (generally) inexorably over time. The average statline of minions at various low-end mana costs, for example. What you're describing is a faster-paced and more deleterious process with some additional stipulations you've cooked up
@@kourii nope in most TCG power creep simply means that a new card has the exact same purpose as an older but strictly better, so there's no reason at all to play the older card expect if you want an additional weaker copy. In hearthstone they try to avoid that by printing the stronger version in a different classe but it still happens sometimes. For exemple there was a neutral 5/4 for 5 taunt tribeless in the classic set then they release a 5/4 for 4 taunt tribeless a few years later.
