None of the hate has ever been directed at the actors. It's always been about the writing and story direction, and pissing all over that which came before it.
Writing in Hollywood is so bad, especially when it comes to taking pre-existing content. Star Wars, The Witcher, The Walking Dead, The Crow, and dozens of other existing franchises have repeatedly been pissed on by horrible writers who ignore the source material and push their own BS storylines and agenda.
You know why the original Lord of the Rings trilogy is so beloved? They tried to respect the source material as much as possible.
You know why The Witcher, especially past season one, is so hated? They took a big steaming pile of shit on the story fans wanted to see come to the screen.
There are no Disney sequels, I have no idea what you're talking about.

I can't wait for it. Hopefully, it will have no men at all because men are bad. I'm also hoping they bring back the emperor again and kill him off in every new movie. It's so awesome to see the same thing over and over again. Maybe tie both hands behind Reys back in the next movie so it's a slight challenge for her. Her being a woman plus the combined 2 hours of force training she has makes it so it's hard to find a worthy adversary unless she is held back somehow. Maybe they make an exception and can keep Finn as the only man in the universe so he can continue to yell Rey's name for 150 minutes.

Story and character development is what makes a good product if the writer, director, actors puts in the work. Ep. 7, 8, 9 were treated with such animosity and disrespect towards everything Star Wars. These people are still working at Disney/Lucasfilm so how good are these movies going to really be. I will always have a love for Star Wars. I never stay in a abusive relationship and that's what Disney/Lucasfilm projects towards the fans.
I really just hate how she is "Rey Skywalker" as she isn't a Skywalker, and even if she just adopted the name to get away from her past or whatever it may be, it still just doesn't feel or seem right to me and I really feel like it was a poor choice on Disney. The entire sequel trilogy was full of them, unfortunately

We start a new aventure were a kid discovers his power and with his friends start a revolution to stop this evil empress
I really like Daisy as an actor. She really did a wonderful job with what she was given. It was not her fault the character and plot of those 3 films were awful. This damage done by Disney has to be repaired.

Besides The Bad Batch, Tales of the Jedi, and Andor, I don’t care about anything else coming from Disney Star Wars. They destroyed The Mandoverse with Season 3 and Ahsoka, and The Acolyte will most likely be the worst Star Wars series yet. I honestly just want an animated series based on the 10 years between The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones. There’s so much potential and mystery in that timeline that needs to be explored. Same writers as The Bad Batch and the same animation team, and I bet it’d be incredible.
The Bad Batch writers said the show is the end of George Lucas' legacy. If they make something during the prequels it will be with new characters not what we want to see.
Daisy is just in it for the $ at this point.

It's funny how a single season of the Mandalorian (of which several episodes were filler) managed to give people... a new hope for Disney SW. I'm done until I hear something good from a trusted source. I only watch this channel to support it and the slim hope that maybe someday we will get something good in SW again.

I remember being crazy excited for every news blip about episode 1 coming to theaters. Years later I had the same crazy excitement for episode 7. I now could care less. This used to be a huge part of my life. Disney Star Wars movies other than Rogue One are such a buzz kill. I have never watched them more than once. I am frankly tired of getting my hopes up that they will somehow fix the disaster they created.

Based on how Lucasfilm's schedule has been these past few years, i will believe these movies will be coming out when they actually provide a release date. Before then, it's safer to assume that they will either be scrapped, or just fade away, hoping people forgot the announcements.

I like Ray as a character, but a good script is needed for any movie to be successful, I like her as a Skywalker if she gets pregnant from kiloren by force, a jedi with lighting skills and 15 years later with flash backs of reading the books she stole from temple, plus teaching her child to be jedi at young age. It could work
Far better if she accepted she is a Palpatine and honor her father and mother who sacrifice for her, but no... She is a "Skywalker", utterly stupid

That would be a way to reset Ray Palpatine's bloodline since that's her true DNA. She could be with rebel still one day, her eyes turn red and Darkside awakes inside her before they can rebuild the rebel alliance, yet to destroy it by the end of first one, number 2, is kids find the books left behind in destroy rebel base in a safe, 3rd they have a new master base to beat Ray but one jedi found is like Skywalker lost child to be the new master jedi to destroy Rey because her bloodline is just too dangerous but she confused of two bloodline that Ray and Skywalker on formed by birth of Ray child with kyilr Ren who became the sith lord and Luke child is the only pear Skywalker left to destroy the new empire left, ending the 3rd installment. Rey inermind is confused and dreams hunt her after birth of child in the first one.
Why is it that they dont use the stories from legends, theres a whole universe out there.
