If Jordan Westburg keeps swinging the bat the way he is now he will be AL Player of the Week next week.
Every time Cedric wears #42 he plays like Jackie Robinson. A super star
Westburg is settling in as a legit major leaguer. With Gunnar entrenched at SS and Jackson at 2nd, that pretty much leave 3rd for Jordan. So where does Mayo play? And Kjerstad keeps tearing the cover off the ball. Hays' struggles persist and Urias/Mateo have about run their course in Baltimore. Can Bradish and Means be counted on for solid pitching, or does Elias put a package together to go get a top notch starter? Seems like quite a few impactful decisions are going to have to be made by the trade deadline. Hopefully, we're solidly in contention then.
Liked the new open
Fire!
YOU! CAN'T! ESCAPE! HIM! LittleMan you're not alone.
Hey conner u should cameo on the ryan ripken show.....kevin is there he does locked on ravens u do locked on orioles.....u r an increible source of orioles info and would be an awesome get for them......i wonder if its a no go bec ur honest about the previoues ownership regitime and maybe ur takes on john a but im prob stretching.....i watch both shows and would love to see u do ur thing over there is all
I was thinking the same thing. I watch both. No one liked John anyway lol.
Same! They should
I second this. There’s a ton of overlap in both viewing audiences. I like how Connor is all Orioles coverage 100%, but I also like that Ryan is more goofy and not 100% orioles coverage. It would make for a great overlap
connor's competitive side is going to carry us to the post season
Sitting at 10-6 right now has felt a tad disappointing. But over 162 games 10-6 X 10 = 100+ wins. I wonder if they can rev their engines up a bit? They haven't really hit their stride yet.
Long season. Even a 16-12 month will feel like a win for me. Bradish and Means are on their way, and Jackson hasn't found any sort of stride yet. Hays will either lose his spot soon or pick it up, which make me believe we should see Heston in some way or another by June.
Every year the separation happens after all star break
Honestly pretty happy with things considering none of Gunnar, Adley, or Santander has really gotten going. None have been completely cold or slumping, but none are truly going like they can either. This lineup is so deep that there are 8 guys capable of doing real damage in any given game.
@@SRSports-xw5yu ur right...june scheudle is hard lots of hard games with notany days off
Id really like to see Stowers eventually in right field. He's a perfect fit for the AL East. A lefty masher with a cannon arm and can really play the field.
Whoa, new title sequence!?!?
I hope Hays turns it around before the deadline so that Elias will be able to acquire a decent reliever in return. I don't see a long future with him on this team unless he accepts his role as a 4th OF.
Thank God westburg and mountcaste are holding down the right side of the plate witch makes me think mayo or nordby would be the first call up it if Hayes and Urius keep struggling
Cowser's average IS unreal. Regression to the mean was coming.
I just wish it was a little slower landing on him.
It’s really hard to know what to do with Hayes
We need another arm dude, Corbin can’t be our only day in the week where we arnt bitting our nails wondering how we’re gonna get runs back.
The Orioles should move Adley lower in the lineup. He gets on base but he would fit better hitting like 6th or 7th. He doesn't get enough big hits and he doesn't get enough power production. He's also likely to hit into more DPs because he's the catcher. I'd rather have Westburg hit 2nd. Cowser 3rd, Santander 4th, Mountcastle 5th, Ohearn 6th Adley 7th, Mullins 8th, Holliday 9th.
To this point, Im not really sure what Rutschman is. He is an odd fit into a lineup. Naturally he should be in the lower half of the order aside from his OBP. But I find he often comes up in big spots and doesn't produce like you hope. This year his OPS has fallen and doesn't justify hitting him so high in the order. It's still early so if that trend continues perhaps they'll lower him later.
Our starting pitchers need to stop throwing the damn ball in the hitters sweet spots. Every game we give up one or two homers. Not a good look 😂
yeah I don't like Irvin or Hyde's outlook on the performance. He missed his spots all night and the Twins had no Correa, Lewis, or Kepler.
As much as it would suck for Hays, if he's still struggling this badly when May rolls around, they have to seriously consider giving him a AAA stint
That would really destroy his trade value.
He doesn’t have any minor league options**** you’d have to trade and or dump him & hope he clears waivers through like 26 other teams. Best course of action is to hope he get a lil hot, flip him at the deadline with a package to get another starter. Or if they wanna continue the confusing fuckery let’s just start Hayes & McKenna every day so we can lose 100 games again.. 😑
@@doctorstrainlove6318 apparently he has a single option left
Austin is amazing defensively....why is that forgotten?
Uh, because Cowser is too. His defense isn't so much better that you can put up with his on/off offense. The Orioles don't need so much great defense if they blow out their opponents.
Let Hayes go. Play Cowser full-time. It's a tough conversation, but not a hard decision.
Hays is an automatic out and we can't keep putting him out there. I'm thankful for his service, but it's time to move on. Same for Urias as far as I'm concerned. Time to get serious. This isn't a Disney movie
Cowser k'd 4 times. So what!!!! The kid is putting up Willie mays numbers.
'Golden Sombrero '. He didn't look the same. He was swinging at everything.
Difference is that Willie did that for 6 straight months for 20 consecutive years.
The homer hookah!
I feel for Hayes I hope he breaks out in a huge way
He's the odd man out. He's just so inconsistent and his upside isn't nearly as high as Cowser. I can see Cowser hitting .290 with 35 HRs and 100 RBI easily at Camden. and getting about 15 more games in lefty friendly Yankee stadium. Hays couldn't do that in the old Camden and certainly not with Walltimore out there.
Unless Holliday turns it around I don't think he'll be up much longer. Maybe a few weeks. He looks lost just like Cowser last year. Jackson is supposed to have an elite batting eye, but zero walks and 10 Ks, while being hidden from lefties seems to point to him not being ready just yet.
He did make better contact today
@@danielhudson6594He just looked more relaxed in general today. He's not been any worse than what he replaced, so I think he'll get a decent run to settle into the role.
Irvin has to go. It was the twins. The worse hitting team
I think in order for lefties who don't throw 95+ like Irvin to be successful, they gotta be able to fool righties with off-speed pitches low and in. But I don't see that in Irvin's repertoire.
Last time we needed bullpen rest grayson went 8 innings….. bet the over’s
Austin Hays needs to go
