MTC and Omaruru municipality sign memorandum of understanding

The Mobile Telecommunication Company (MTC) and the Omaruru municipality have signed a Memorandum of Understanding, which will see the mobile company develop smart home connectivity products for the towns’ residents utilising smart meters.
These innovations will empower consumers with greater control and insight into their utility usage, which is expected to contribute to more sustainable consumption patterns.
The Omaruru municipality becomes the third local authority to welcome such an initiative after Keetmanshoop and Swakopmund.
