I read all the comments about the controversy over Amanda’s outfit & how revealing it was (for a “family” show) but did anyone notice ALESHA’S outfit??? She could’ve practically “taken out” someone’s eye with it!!! 😵😵😵 I hope this incredible performance was enough to get her voted through to the final 🤞😄🤞

I think the complaints were that her outfit was a little too much considering that a lot of kids would be watching (yeah, I know you’re thinking “well DUHH!”) & that their parents would be offended also. I can only go on what I read in an online news feed we get here in Australia. It stated that the network televising the show was bombarded with complaints from “angry/offended viewers” who all took offence” at Amanda’s outfit.
....I totally get your point about the skin tone (flesh coloured) clothing under the outfit but to me, this brought back nauseating memories of Mel B on AGT, who would almost ALWAYS ramble on about how she didn’t like what the contestants were wearing or that they didn’t make the right song choice (complete irony coming from her 🤣🤣🤣). You’re also 100% right in regards to the context of Beth’s amazing performance 👏👏👏. I think if Mel was a judge on BGT (I’m SO grateful she isn’t) & she dared try to criticise Beth for what she did in this video that she would’ve been booed out of the building 😂😂😂. Mel herself was almost always dressed like a hooker or prostitute.... & NOT the expensive kind!!! I absolutely HATED her (apologies if you like her, but I simply can’t stand her).

I have heard that the judges on these talent shows have “backstage costume people” that assist them with their attire but given some of the outfits Mel B used to wear, I’d say those people were either high on the “Colombian Dancing Dust” or had smoked a joint or 4 before making their choices 🥴🤢🤮

I’m a man & do enjoy looking at a hot looking woman (like Amanda & Alesha) but our online news services here in Australia literally “blew up” over the level & number of complaints filed about it & most were complaining Amanda’s outfit was “a little risqué” & a bit too much for a supposed “family” show.

John Wickes .... Greetings from Australia 🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺. My “soon-to-be missus” is a cop (I work in public transport) & we got engaged in Fiji last year & it’s all set in stone mate 🍺🍺🍺. I won’t be getting too drunk on my buck’s night as I don’t want to suffer a “Ross moment”, from the TV show “Friends”, when he said the wrong name during his vows. If I did that, she’d literally rip my nuts out & feed them to me 😵😵😵. I just hope these BS “pandemic” restrictions can be eased somewhat by then so our day can be more memorable (it’s on the 1st weekend in summer for us here - December 5th).
