In this episode, the PTA debunk the popular myth that Pro Tools doesn't handle latency well. The fact is that many users cause themselves latency by not understanding how latency is caused and how the DAW has capabilities to combat it and keep your work in sync.
To compound the myth, when complaining about latency, users rarely differentiate between 'input latency' and 'processing latency' - using 'latency' as a catch all term.
Dave, Anders and Andy discuss the two main areas of latency and how to manage it.
