I live near the temple. They are not allowing you to take videos because there were multiple terrorist threats for this temple. The positivity inside the temple is just massive. Its a huge idol of ananthashayana (Lord vishnu in sleeping form) the idol just humbles you and you feelings something infront of padmanabhan which I cant actually express... Its something else

Anay I TOTALLY AGREE. Jessica resonates well with Hinduism.
I am a British Indian woman who did solo travel vlogging for 3 whole years in India. I visited temples more often than some people who were born and raised in India. I love the meanings of the different gods. After 2 and a half years in South India I travelled to the Himalayas and their pre dominant religion was Buddhism. Kerala seems to have these "regulations" more than any other state. Maybe there is a history of theft, since these temples often sustained highly valuable items. Unfortunately many artifacts have been stolen from India over the last 100 years. The Annapurna murti that was stolen from Varanasi several decades back, was recently retrieved from Canada apparently. I expect these regulations to change for ISKCON devotees, as they are well known entity now.

One needs to be so clean and clean to enter the temple.. Even if a foreigner says that I am a Hindu, no one can believe it immediately... I am a Kerala Christian. .A Keralite Christian or Muslim can enter the temple if he wants. No one can immediately understand whether he is a Hindu or not.. But a foreigner can be understood immediately... One needs to be so clean and clean to enter the temple.. Even if a foreigner says that I am a Hindu, no one can believe it immediately... I am a Kerala Christian. We women do not go through the public road near the temple of Mahadeva near my house during menstruation. In that temple is the deity of Mahadev in his fierce form.. Fish meat is never taken through that route.. We respect those rules.

They were strict and were very confused about me as I'm an Indian lady with a British accent lol 😄 I guess it might have got stricter now as times have moved on. Sorry u didn't gain entry. I spent 3 consecutive years travelling around India so iv learnt how to say no to selfies and unwanted attention. Hahahahaha 😄

Jessica, in Indian Vedic culture, Women are considered as living Symbol of Goddesses, and it is believed she is the Kinetic, creator of this Universe...You are most welcome to Visit various temples that honour Goddess and worship them... That represents "True India".
Some digression because of various types of interpretations, so honestly these rules are implemented are not in line with old Indian traditions. This conservative and closed India evolved very recently in the last 1000 odd years or so, India's Vedic Culture origin dates back thousands of years pre-that...

In kerala temples some of them very strict not allowed non Hindus. I remember in 1980 s Indian PM rajiv gandhi visited guruvayoir temple with wife soniya gandhi they only allowed rajiv gandhi inside temple soniya stand outside just because of she not following Hinduism.. Even ISKON devotees not allowed inside some of the temples of they are foreigners.. Don't worry if u are worshiper you can pray outside temple god will hear u.. Only 10 percent of temples only have this strict rules.. All others will allow you to enter if you are following other religion also..

Dear Madam, please don’t take is personally, in Hinduism, after installation of idol, and praana Prathishta of the deity is completed , it’s very important that the aura of the idol is not compromised. Because most white people eat beef , their body aura can disturb the aura of the deity , it’s a mleccha act. Hence they ban foreigners, but ironically in Kerala 60% of Hindus eat beef , so given present circumstances, they can relax such rules for foreign people and let everybody in….this is Kaliyuga , so such rules are not required

Certain Temples don't allow non believers inside like Mecca Madinah. Temples are for devotees ,not for tourists. It's not a tourist place. It's a place for workship. People should respect the temple and management decisions. If you are a genuine believer go and visit normal temples most them allow everyone. Same God is there.😉

Because of some hinduphobic who caused this issue , later good vloggers can't even explore it's Beauty for the previous corrupt people consequences.
