- 2022 EZGO (EZ-GO) TXT Valor review and driving video. EX1 150cc EFI motor (Invoice code: G-ISG EFI)
I purchased the cart in September of 2022 and I have had several issues with it. Update video coming soon. Still a nice cart, but it is turning out to be higher maintenance than electric.
Thanks for watching.
Been looking for a good video on the Valor. Thanks!
This appears to be a 150cc Gy6 Chinese scooter engine
How does it do on hills?
I own this exact cart. It does good on hills if youre alone. You put two full grown adults, 2 golf bags and a cooler and it really makes a difference.
150cc’s must be a real dog 🐶
How’s it do on hills?
I think it does pretty well on hills. Due to the gearing and the governor being on there, you definitely notice the motor working harder, but I haven’t noticed losing speed up hills.
@@spencergcole funny you just responded! I just picked up an electric valor today! Hills are no problem.
@@bradriversideThat is too funny! EZGO makes a great product - gas or electric. I compared it to a few “off brands” ICON, etc… And EZGO was much more refined / higher quality. Hope you enjoy your purchase!
@@spencergcole 48 V
I just bought one and the ecu went out and been on back order for 3 months. Buy a club car instead
I wonder if mine has ECU issues. It has quit working a few times, but it always seems to start back up before I can get it to the shop, or even a good video of the issue.
It must be certain ones made during a certain period because I know some people that have them go bad a lot meanwhile mine has been good and it's a 2020 and I use it year round and I have 1,000 hours on mine with an hour meter I installed
@@spencergcoleI work on a golf course that has 9 ex1s in the fleet. When the ISG (integrated starter generator controller/silver computer on engine) goes out they will run for about 5 holes and completely die. By the time I get them pushed back they usually run again.
@@YTEvasionEliThe ISG/ecu usually fails when the battery is low on voltage or starting to die. The 2020 ex1s do have the problem.
Sounds like it's a lot louder than the Yamaha quiet Tech
Engine is Chinese junk
