Traxxas X-Maxx 2085 Servo Metal Gear Replacement

In this video I replace the Gears in my 2085 servo. I did this as opposed to purchasing a 2085x for double the cost. Slightly more work but much better than the factory plastic gears

Never had an issue after I even stepped it up to 7.4v

Maybe your servo horn is stripped or you need a new servo

Traxxas X MAXX comes with a big ole servo…….a big ole POS servo……..the upgraded one should come standard🤦🏼‍♂️

U forgot to install the plastic insert. Yr servo won't work. Stop making videos
