Got a Lenovo 10 tab for 4 years now. Use it everyday. Never saw the need to replace it for what I use it for. It's build and price doesn't make you afraid to carry it around even when it's in my child's hands. The best part about it is the battery life. Amazing battery life.
Watching this video from the yoga tab 3 plus. Great tablet and I'm glad you think it is still competitive even now. Occasionally drops from £300 to £250 but it's a good buy at either price.

I've wanted to get my hands on the 4GB-64GB version but all they sell in the US is the plain-Jane, low-spec TAB 4 8 and 10 and even they are ...hard to get! Supposedly, the Plus models will come out in the US in October. I left a comment on the Lenovo forum ,that by the time they're available in the US, the Tab 5 models will be out! HELP. I ordered an Lenovo 4 Plus 10 from Amazon. When I received it the opening screen said it was a Moto Tab TB-X704A though the box on outside said lenovo 4 Plus 10 on it. This is a super question. Are they essentially the same thing? I looked up the three model numbers that are known ajd for Lenovo 4 Plus and TB-X704A was not one of them. What am I missing here. The specs looked almost identical. On Ebay they are advertised as Moto Tabs for the TB-X704A. Any comments help on solving this mystery, are they the same device? The company doesnt give the model number bit the specs. match that of a lenovo 4 plus.
Sometimes updates do more bad than good on older devices. I have a few android devices in my house that I purposely don’t upgrade because newer OS’s don’t run properly on them. They are devices that I normally keep offline so your mileage will vary depending on what you’re doing with your android tablet(s).
Hello, I bought a week ago tab4 10 plus X704f ZA2M0090IL And the battery is discharged quickly whilenot in use = 3% per hour. Even though the device is in flight mode and the messages do not activate the screen. Is this normal or should I take the device for repair? Thanks

Quick question about the display. Even though it has a full hd display i'm reading communities say they are having issue while streaming HD in netflix. Lenovo tab 4 10 plus Is this tablet have keyboard and pen with it? Or we should buy them seperately. It should have expandable memory. It should have enough memory for video editing and photo editing softwares, for taking pictures , for daily use, for watching videos and movies, for listening music, for reading books, on which tablets can i work for more than 10 hours on multiple programs without worrying about tablet getting hanged and without worrying about battery draining and on tablet i can work with external hard disk and pen drives and can be easily carried with me anywhere on any trip .

"Brightness at 420 Lux is incorrect. Lux is a measurement of light falling on an incident plane where brightness is relative measurement of light being emitted off a plane. I bet the actual Lenovo specs states "420 nits" because most manufacturers are shy of using the correct "Luminance" technical term for how much light is being emitted in a solid angle from a surface. So 420 Candelas / square meter is the correct unit of measurement to describe the "Luminance" of the screen.
well it's 420 LUX max, that's the only thing I can measure with what I have, I don't care what they state, I trust the lux meter along with my own eyes

If that is the case, if we take 420 "Lux", measured at what distance from the screen (?), we get 420 / 3.14 = about 130ish Cd/m2 which is NOT a whole lot of light. I'd expect these small LCD screen to be a lot "brighter"? - Sadly, a visit to the Lenovo site www.lenovo.com/ca/en/tablets/android-tablets/tab-4-series/Lenovo-TB-X704/p/ZZITZTATB1X does not reveal the "official" specs of this tablet. But, have no fear, I decided to order one of my own. Why so many manufacturers decide not to add display calibration? Is it expensive to implement? Is there a hardware aspect to the display where it would need more components or more expensive components to achieve user calibration?

I like this tab its very responsive and hardly laggy plus the touch screen is quite nice as for playing a video simply enhance the brightness and close ur curtain windows and you should be able to see quite fine T.T

I'm wanting to buy my first tab and I'm on a tight budget. I don't have the greatest expectation (browsing, youtube, and general media playback) from a tab as my pc meets all my needs but want something portable. Can you recommend the "non plus" versions of the tab 4 either 8 or 10? now in uk they are on offer 8" £99 10" £129. If not is there something in a similar price range that is better?
I ended up buying the tab4 8 and it is perfect for my needs. Great price, great battery and does evey thing I need. Sometimes these reviews are catering for people who are really picky or have extreme demads for a tablet and try to discourage folks from buying some of the more affordable tablets when they are sufficient. Everyone NEEEDS the BEST and then they throw them away next year to buy the new best. Humans are stupid creatures.
The high-end android tablet field is pretty much dead. All you can get are mediocre medium-range screens, CPUs and speed. No big batteries, no fast SoCs, no big RAM, no guaranteed OS upgrades... just throaway tablets. No wonder people want to pay less and less for them. I say $200€ is about max that it's worth paying for an Android tablet these days (and I'm writing as a user who bought a 400€ Tablet, from Asus -- never again).

Scrap that comment, an hour later Amazon UK had one in stock and I now have it. I'm 24 hours in to owning it and so far I'm suitably impressed! Multi-window with Android 7 (Nougat) is amazing to use as is the ability to flick between apps. Screen resolution is perfect for me and I'm at 60% battery after roughly 10 hours of various use. Nice and light with decent audio via Dolby Atmos although I will mostly use it with my portable Bose speaker. I totally recommend the Plus version and Amazon UK are selling it for £349.99. Once again, thanks for the review.
wait what, it's showing as pre-order only for me. Looking for something to replace my Nexus 9 and was very interested in this (4gb version, 2bg just don't cut it nowadays).
I went for the white, I've always had my tablets in black so it's made a change. Please note, I'm experiencing an issue with the battery. It's losing 1% of battery every 5 minutes and this is just basic web browsing only. So, now I'm torn on my original thought of this or the Lenovo Tab 3 Pro 4 GB Ram and 64 GB of storage. I've spoken with Amazon and they're happy to refund my money as the battery drain is too quick on a new product (charged once). So, do you rate the Tab 3 or would you stick with a replacement?

I have Tab 4 10 Plus and it doesn't support phone calls. It's a shame since I really like it. Buy 10" inch Lenovo. Huawei Mediapad M3 doesn't look better on paper. Lenovo has SD625, it is very fast.
The snapdragon processor in the Galaxy tab A 2019 10 inch is in the 400 range, Lenovo 4plus is like 650 so way better. The galaxy still good product just depends what use for. Lenovo be bit better for gaming
On the off chance you see this quickly and choose to give a response I would super appreciate it... if you had the choice between this (64GB version) and the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus which you gave such a rave review of, which comes out on top? (given roughly equal price) As far as I can tell the Yoga genuinely seems better. Better screen, better sound, more battery, maybe a little more powerful? (benchmarks indicate better singlethread but worse multithread) But it is also older - and it seems unlikely that Lenovo is going to be upgrading fra Android 6 to 7 from what I've read. EDIT: Ok now I look like an idiot for asking the question after watching only 80% of the video lol...

It's true that the Lenovo Tab 4 10" Plus is new and have somewhat same specs compared to Asus Zenpad 3S 10 but don't forget that Asus is better in terms of screen quality considering it has a resolution of 1440P. So if you are a movie guy, like me, then Asus is the way to go. Even in terms of performance, Asus is slightly better. Moving on, i have heard from many reviewers and people in comments that Lenovo is bad when it comes to updates as they don't give many. As for battery, it's not an issue for me as i have a 30000mah QC 3.0 portable charger. And the build quality of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 is sexy af.

Asus Zenpad 3S 10 is almost 1.5 yr old. Go with either Tab S3 if you have budget for that or Asus Zenpad 3S 10. Tab S2 has only one advantage or so what i think over Asus which is its Amoled screen. Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is good too but i didn't like its design. The probability of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 getting more updates than Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus or even this tab 4 10" plus is higher though.

Lenovo is a good brand. I still have the tab 2 a10 and is really good tablet.

I'm wanting to buy my first tab and I'm on a tight budget. I don't have the greatest expectation (browsing, youtube, and general media playback) from a tab as my pc meets all my needs but want something portable. Can you recommend the "non plus" versions of the tab 4 either 8 or 10? now in uk they are on offer 8" £99 10" £129. If not is there something in a similar price range that is better?
I ended up buying the tab4 8 and it is perfect for my needs. Great price, great battery and does evey thing I need. Sometimes these reviews are catering for people who are really picky or have extreme demads for a tablet and try to discourage folks from buying some of the more affordable tablets when they are sufficient. Everyone NEEEDS the BEST and then they throw them away next year to buy the new best. Humans are stupid creatures.
The high-end android tablet field is pretty much dead. All you can get are mediocre medium-range screens, CPUs and speed. No big batteries, no fast SoCs, no big RAM, no guaranteed OS upgrades... just throaway tablets. No wonder people want to pay less and less for them. I say $200€ is about max that it's worth paying for an Android tablet these days (and I'm writing as a user who bought a 400€ Tablet, from Asus -- never again).

Scrap that comment, an hour later Amazon UK had one in stock and I now have it. I'm 24 hours in to owning it and so far I'm suitably impressed! Multi-window with Android 7 (Nougat) is amazing to use as is the ability to flick between apps. Screen resolution is perfect for me and I'm at 60% battery after roughly 10 hours of various use. Nice and light with decent audio via Dolby Atmos although I will mostly use it with my portable Bose speaker. I totally recommend the Plus version and Amazon UK are selling it for £349.99. Once again, thanks for the review.

I went for the white, I've always had my tablets in black so it's made a change. Please note, I'm experiencing an issue with the battery. It's losing 1% of battery every 5 minutes and this is just basic web browsing only. So, now I'm torn on my original thought of this or the Lenovo Tab 3 Pro 4 GB Ram and 64 GB of storage. I've spoken with Amazon and they're happy to refund my money as the battery drain is too quick on a new product (charged once). So, do you rate the Tab 3 or would you stick with a replacement?
Tab 4's have a problem formatting SD cards. The process will start but then gets stuck at 20 percent.

However in your review you state this lenovo Tab 4 plus 10 has 3GB ram but I cannot find any of the 10 inch ones that have more then 2 GB of ram, except for the Lenovos Tab 4 plus 8 inch ones have 3 to 4 GB ram. Would be nice to have a lenovo tab 4 plus 10 inch with more then 2 GB ram, wonder where I could buy from? Thanks again.

Main point for me here is that 10 plus better than 8 plus but it's sad because I like 8 inch tablets. I sold my favorite Sony Z3 Tablet Compact few weeks ago. I was using it as both tablet and phone for 2 years and for me it was the best 8 inch tablet but I really like 8 inch tablets. Now i'm struggling to choose a new tablet, I even in doubt now to go for 8 or 10 inch. I thought i'd go for Huawei Mediapad M3 Lite 10 initially when I was selling my tablet but then I started doubting. I know you didn't review Huawei Mediapad M3 lite 10 but I really can't understand if it's any better than Lenovo which on paper looks better.
I have Tab 4 10 Plus and it doesn't support phone calls. It's a shame since I really like it. Buy 10" inch Lenovo. Huawei Mediapad M3 doesn't look better on paper. Lenovo has SD625, it is very fast.

The snapdragon processor in the Galaxy tab A 2019 10 inch is in the 400 range, Lenovo 4plus is like 650 so way better. The galaxy still good product just depends what use for. Lenovo be bit better for gaming

if you had the choice between this (64GB version) and the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus which you gave such a rave review of, which comes out on top? (given roughly equal price)
As far as I can tell the Yoga genuinely seems better. Better screen, better sound, more battery, maybe a little more powerful? (benchmarks indicate better singlethread but worse multithread)
But it is also older - and it seems unlikely that Lenovo is going to be upgrading fra Android 6 to 7 from what I've read.

Asus Zenpad 3S 10 considering the specs. Though the battery life is somewhat worse compare to Lenovo Tab 4 10" plus.
Wolverstone but arent they a bit the same? Like asus has the Z pen support but for the rest? The both have the same ram and memory capacity and the lenovo is a bit newer as wel 🤔

It's true that the Lenovo Tab 4 10" Plus is new and have somewhat same specs compared to Asus Zenpad 3S 10 but don't forget that Asus is better in terms of screen quality considering it has a resolution of 1440P. So if you are a movie guy, like me, then Asus is the way to go. Even in terms of performance, Asus is slightly better.
Moving on, i have heard from many reviewers and people in comments that Lenovo is bad when it comes to updates as they don't give many.
As for battery, it's not an issue for me as i have a 30000mah QC 3.0 portable charger. And the build quality of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 is sexy af.

Asus Zenpad 3S 10 is almost 1.5 yr old. Go with either Tab S3 if you have budget for that or Asus Zenpad 3S 10. Tab S2 has only one advantage or so what i think over Asus which is its Amoled screen. Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus is good too but i didn't like its design. The probability of Asus Zenpad 3S 10 getting more updates than Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Plus or even this tab 4 10" plus is higher though.
