Let's play Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility. This is an ASMR play through, aka play thru, of this cute video game on the original Nintendo Wii. I'm a nice lady, with a foul mouth. I speak with a female soft spoken style, cuz that's how I roll, chill. But also I roll fun too. there are some funny moments. You may find my random thoughts and commentary hilarious or not. It's just stupid and silly, and it's sometimes strange. - Zábava
There was a video I watched recently where a man describes a job he took when he was 20 years old. According to the boss, it was supposed to be an easy job out at a lodge on an island in the wilderness. He took the job, planning on writing a book during his time there, since there supposedly wouldn't be a huge amount of work to do.
It turns out that the boss had lied, and it was actually 14 hours a day working on this island in the middle of nowhere. Even the boss' wife admitted it's always a ton of work up there every year, and she could barely read two pages of a book during the season because there was so much work to do.
So, a situation very reminiscent of Mayor Hamilton and Waffle Island - tricking people into coming to work on their shitty little islands.
Except unlike Stemi, the man in the story had the good sense to quit and go home after half a week. 😂

Eincrou ah yes a similar situation indeed. Unfortunately for Stemi she can’t go back to her home town because there’s a warrant out for her arrest.
