It can be, but it's also exciting. You gotta be quick on your toes, but the rewards can be sweet.
I've been thinking about trying price action trading. No more relying on indicators, just reading the market itself.
The problem is, the market can be brutal. One minute you're feeling like a genius, the next your account is looking like a horror movie.

Every strategy is not suitable for everyone! What works for one person may not work for another.
It's important to find a strategy that aligns with your risk tolerance, trading style, and goals.
Don't try to force a square peg into a round hole - take the time to find what works best for you!

Sup Calvin. I never comment on YT but had to after watching this vid. I just want to say that I'm happy for your realization that scalping was a more profitable way of trading for you because not only is this the way I trade, but it fits my personality and this is the key. I want to see velocity when I have money in the market and want to be in/out as soon as possible. I don't like being in drawdown at all so this way of trading works for me. The downside is that I'm staring at the charts all day, however I don't necessarily see this as a downside because of the knowledge I gain looking and analyzing price action day in and day out. I want to thank you for doing what you do. Your videos are inspirational and affirms what I think about all the time and gives me hope every single day. Hopefully we bump into each other at the bank one day carrying a huge bag. Props to you Calvin and I'll be watching. Also, congrats on 100k subs and the birth of your child!

If I could give the year one trader of myself advice. I would say stop running from back testing, so you can find out what coincidences seem to happen every time you win. All you need is 15 mins of back testing a day. That’s 1% of 24 hours. You know Forex pairs for sure move 10-20 pips a day. How do you expect to pass the same test you never studied for or cared to make adjustments. Instead of setting a goal so large you probably won’t do it. Set a small goal so you’ll be embarrassed not to do it

From journaling to showing up at your designated time etc. I’m still learning as a day scalper but all glory to God honestly. I would study for a month or two , stop and repeat within like 3 years. It wasn't until this year I tightened up, detached from the money, and got super realistic about MY trading journey. I would backtest, listen to you + other traders & finance mindset vids. It's not always about the time, but really the quality of the work we put in. It really does start with our inner selves.
Trading is not as hard as people make it seem. The market moves how it wants. It feels simpler once you find a couple strategies that match your personality & life and use your focused chart time to build an edge. Trade a demo as a live & backtest because practice builds chart confidence. I just bought a prop firm for leverage purposes, hopefully they don't close lol. You only fail when you give up & giving up was never an option for me because of my faith in myself & God. Thank you for these vids!! I wish everyone the best📈

I was used to hearing Discipline Discipline but never did I truly understand what that is, how much I lack from that like insanely crazy - Oh yea I can do something I want to do for hours and have no problem, day after day but doing the mundane everyday things and to do stuff you don’t want To do over and over that type of Discipline is just something I dint Have and still working hard on it because I still don’t have it down pack

Something I have not understood here. Calvin is talking about having strategies and scalping like two independent scenarios. Is he saying that he does scalping with no strategy? Help me understand that.
I was looking for this comment and glad that you said something. Scalping vs using a strategy aren’t mutually exclusive so I’m not sure what he is trying to explain. Youre still scalping with a strategy. I think I understand what he is trying to say but the wording/delivery is off..
