Activists always hated Japanese. I was able to observe some of those circles when i was in sole programming discords. From my experience, they see Japanese as just as racist as the founding fathers.
I respect that about the Japanese👍

The people pushing for DEI and ESG are Jewish groups like Blackrock and Vanguard.

It was discovered that Thomas Lockley, who wrote a "fantasy book" about "Yasuke", had "changed history" by tampering with the wiki of "Yasuke".

They don't care about culture.
They care about their message and how good it makes them feel.
Historically we don't know much about Yasuke at all. He is mentioned in 3 or 4 Japanese documents and is also mentioned a couple of times in the Portuguese Jesuit letters sent back to the church. If you want to be historically correct, hire a Japanese historian.
Yes, there has been a battle on this wikipedia article as the radical Leftists who support this game's disrespect of your country's history & culture continue to change wikipedia to fit their own ideological narrative. Those of us who believe in maintaining & respecting history are trying to fight back against them.
What you are witnessing regarding this game is a small scale battle of a MUCH larger ideological war being fought mainly in the West. The "Intersectional Marxists" are trying to either rewrite, takeover or destroy anything that does not align with their ideology. The similarities to the very beginnings of Mao's Cultural Revolution are very noticable. They are trying really hard to spread this ideology to your beautiful country of Japan so I am thankful their disrespect within this game has been noticed by many like yourself.
Always fight for & protect your cultural heritage.

Thomas Lockley learned about Yasuke from Wikipedia, became interested in him, and compiled a book about him.
However, even gathered from reliable sources at the time, only about one page on each side of the novel, he had to fill 99% of the book he wrote with his own imagination.
Perhaps if he had stated the truth in an afterword when he published that book, that the book was "mostly fiction," this might not have been the case.
But this is not the worst thing he has done.
He falsified the English version of Wikipedia and fabricated history in order to make it conform to the contents of the book he wrote.
He filled Yasuke's Wikipedia at that time with HIS OWN FANTASIES.
His Wikipedia name is "Tottori Tom". He frequently edited Yasuke's Wikipedia in 2015, shortly before his history-making book was released.

Is funny, in my country we are mostly red, and whites and blacks are a tiny minority, but somehow the colonizers get our media to talk as if white were to this day oppressors and blacks had been erased from our history, they just talk for the sake of talking.
That's what they do just twisted 🚩
Theyve always been the colonizers. They just scream that they're not so we wont catch them red handed
No they are making there own fictional video game it’s not supposed to be real it’s Histrionic fiction with Fantasy elements.
Let Japan make assassin's creed shadows to correct this bs.
That’s what UBI are doing for Assassins creed Jade, which takes place in ancient China, by letting tencent develop the game. Though my question is, why do they think it’s fine to crap on japans culture and history, but suddenly think it’s not fine to do the same to China?
There was also a Japanese person talking about the woke localization. I have it uploaded on my channel
Nice man
Thanks
they are sick of this and so am i.
More like cultural rewrite.
I Litteraly just googled something about the daimyo and shogunate the other day and the first description ontop of the page was "yasuke was a samurai retainer,
These people need to go play in rush hour traffic
They need to follow Egypt's example and sue
As someone who's staying in Japan let me tell you this: Japanese people appreciate a lot the fact that you want to explore their culture, you wear their traditional dresses, and you respect their culture. They do not have the concept of " cultural appropriation " like some Western weirdo that goes crazy if you have braids. But once you show disrespect for their cultural heritage, they will not tolerate it. Their system is rigid, they do not tolerate butchering their history and traditions to virtue signal some DEI bs.
They’re not insecure that others can take up the mantle of their cultural norms, symbols, traditions, etc and do it with more hustle and vigor (unlike some people).
That goes for the same to the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese. They are very conservative and do not like Western meddling in their affairs. Respect, Honor and Discipline are the value of the Eastern culture.
@tr1bes as a Vietnamese I agree. We used to bạn the products that meddle with our culture before. We banned Barbie movie for the 9-dash lines for example :)
This is how woke dies.
Woke attack Scandinavian culture and Egyptian culture Japan is the next victim.
Twitter activists hate everything flash. They're so high off their own farts that they can't see straight
自分の本売るためにwiki書き換えるのやべーだろ
Seemed like the person has been doing that nonsense since 2015
As I see it, more and more people are getting exposed to this crap. More people are going to reject this. More and more money is lost. So on..
The crazy part is that all these activists that called ghost of Tsushima culture appropriation totally supported this racist train wreck
you cant blame japan for being pissed for disrespecting their culture
They aren’t it’s a fictional video game not real life depiction on Japan every game in the AC franchise is Historical Fiction 🤦🏻♂️
They disrespect everyone else's tho in their media 👀
@@SSFX111 It all started with what UBIsoft called "historical facts".
He even went so far as to say, "We have filled in the blank history of Japan."
After that, the unauthorized use of Japan's "Important Cultural Properties" and numerous plagiarisms were discovered, and politicians began to act.
In the latest, did you use Zoro's sword in One Piece at the expo without permission?
If UBI wanted to create diversity brainwashing software, they should have made a fictional black character the main character. However, UBI fabricated history by portraying the real baggage bearer Yasuke as a super samurai. In the future, the number of people who mistakenly believe that Yasuke is a super samurai will increase exponentially. Japanese people are angry about that.
That's true and if they really want a black samurai, they could just make one up like how he was washed ashore during transportation as a slave and the reason why there is no record of him in Japan was no one even seen his face because he never took of his mask or something.
What I just came up in a minute, sounds more plausible then what ever they are trying to do now.
No amount of Wikipedia edits and pearl clutching is gonna make Yasuke a samurai. So irritating seeing comments saying, "bUt He WaS a ReAl gUy." Every AC game has at least tried to have a protagonist that makes sense given the context of the history they're trying to cover. Let's ignore all those other Japanese samurai that existed and died honorably during this period, let's focus on the one token black guy that was seen more as a pet than a samurai under Oda.
Just sick of this BS. I'll be sure to play Ghost of Tsushima the day this POS rolls out.
あなたが日本史のテストを受けるなら、私はそれに100点を付けるでしょう。
Also the previous games, they barely altered the base historical events of those games. They just add on new fictional events onto the game, for example, George Washington and his alternate reality of him being tyrant because he was being tempted by the apple of eden to become a tyrant. It is up to us main protagonist to stop him and help him resist that temptation.
@@DarkXessZand they never marketed it as “historically accurate” like they are in this case
@@kyvian251 Well, they been marketing with different perspective like below...
IGN interviews, Famitsu TV and IGN Japan's interview. They all talk about how Yasuke connect the dots historically and factually, then they said in Famitsu TV they checked this game for Historical Accuracy, Then in IGN Japan they told people you should look forward to the history of Japan.
Therefore, what is it? They can't have their cake and eat it too.
The sickest move Ghost of Tsushima could do is have a discount the day this releases.
I'm not much of a fan of japanese culture, though I have to give them respect for standing up to preserve and protect their culture. Too many countries became push overs.
I hope the Japanese Government decides to ban this game from sale there. And then considers whether Ubisoft should be allowed to continue to do business in their country.
Japan loved Ghosts of tshusima, the mob hated it. The mob loves Assassins creed shadows, japan hates it. Yet somehow everyone else is being disrespectful to japans history?
I wouldn't buy any game from any company that's associated with Sweet Baby inc. Ubisoft is one of them. I might even consider throwing out my xboxes if gears of war e-day won't be good... I would essentially be throwing away gaming as I don't want to switch to PS, PC or Nintendo.
I lived in Japan when I was stationed there, INFINITELY KIND PEOPLE, Ubisoft needs an attitude adjustment. Of all people to screw over, it shouldn't be the Japanese. Love their curry. 😭❤️🗾🍛
Just a reminder! Creative director Jason Connell and game director Nate Fox of Ghost of Tsushima are ambassadors of the actual city of Tsushima, Nagasaki. That's how good the people of Tsushima thought GoT was.
Why don't ubisoft create a sub-saharan Africa based AC, rather than desperately trying to fit a black person into an AC based in a totally different continent. Black people should be represented in the AC series, but this isn't the way to go about it. An ancient Mali based AC would be cool. But Africa has a lot of history too, so they could choose many regions in Africa.
What is even more disgusting that Ubisoft INTENTIONALLY was looking for 'Our Samurai', that was NOT Japanese. I don't know what has gotten into Ubisoft lately. You won't save your company by behaving like this. What is also hilarious is that the Collectors Edition that was sent to Japanese had grammatical errors xDDD
It’s the whole cleopatra situation again, when will these companies learn?
Putting Chinese buildings in a Japanese game is like putting Russian buildings in new York in gta people will get mad not because it's out of place but because it's a slap to there respect they dont like each other so mixing them up is stupid they even make jokes about this in south park every one in town mixed them up because they look similar that's racist
Same when ROP showrunners gave their version of hobbits dodgy 'Irish' accents portrayed as dumping each other at the drop of a hat when travelling when real Irish travellers exist in the UK who almost have a code of being one for all and all for one. Same with likening their village to serfs from medieval Manchester. Today it's not exactly seen as a place people would rush to live in but those who do are fiercely proud of it and rightly so. Claimed 'no insult intended' yet sacked the Tolkien expert. What did they intend then?
They used Chinese subtitles on one of the trailers that was posted on Ubisoft Japan. I saw that one myself but the video has since been deleted.
They've also apparently used Chinese equivalents of certain Japanese kanji for some of the character names on their official website. I did not see this one for myself, but there were screenshots going around, and it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
This is what happens when you hire for just Diversity instead of qualifications. Shit I probably have fewer degrees but I know enough Japanese I know what Chinese vs. Japanese Kanji look like.
That is so lazy by UBI. Such a basic thing to get wrong.
A few Japanese kanji have similar Chinese character but it's still funny how they mess it up.
Most racist game I have ever seen
Assassin’s Creed Shadows simply put is a revisionist effort to portray someone who may not have even existed as a venerable samurai warrior for the sake of more forced diversity in games and because it is a clear affront to Asian culture which is considered a white culture essentially. I don’t care if you think I am racist or not, that doesn’t phase me. I am going to call out hypocrites constantly accusing their opponents of what they in fact are guilty of doing. They took an unsubstantiated historical figure and instead of using him as a supporting character, which may have worked out and avoided any backlash, despite the fact none of the alleged primary source documents come from Japanese historians, because the narrative would have honored Japan and the samurai instead of injecting blatant homosexuality in the mix which was not tolerated in feudal Japan.
Real journalist would report the Truth but unfortunately we have hacky journalism 🙄🤦
Yasuke was a slave. He was brought to japan by missionaries, taken for entertainment and curiosity by Nobunaga and left 13 months later as a slave. "We wuz samuraisez an shiiiiiiiieeeeeeet!" isnt a thing.
Yasuke, or as Flash says it Yusuki, was a bit player among bit players, his role in history was so insignificant. The man was only in Japan for 13 months before the Akechi forces captured him and sent him out of the country after Honnoji, where he faded into obscurity. He was, at best, a court jester meant to entertain Nobunaga's guests through his foreign strangeness and someone who carried the sword of his master on the way to a battle.
曲あるから聞いてくれ。
曲名(songtitle)
『弥助やないかい』Music Video feat.アサシンクリードシャドウズ 【非公式ソング】Assassin’s Creed Shadows
Loved that song😂
There’s a Japanese dude who speaks German (with different subtitles) made a very good video about the what Ubi did wrong in the game.
Turns out many other things than Yasuke was wrong also.
The Tatami were obviously wrong.
They hired famous brave warriors who wear special helmets just to stand there like security guards.
Ninja running around wearing clothes screaming “I’m a ninja and totally not sus.” while carrying a sword on the back.
The flower season was wrong.
They even got Japan’s religion wrong.
Wouldn’t surprise me if they will say the pope is a Muslim in the future.
as a bald white guy in his 50's I want to play a male Japanese in feudal Japan. Is that to much to ask??
Yes, you should be okay playing as a 6'8 black man in feudal Japan!
It's definitely not immersion breaking being the only tall, black person in the game 😊👍
Boycott This Game. We stand with Japan ❤
Assassin's DEI, such a dishonorable game built on fake lore.
I could see this game getting banned in Japan and I support it
Have Japan ban the game, but have only a few well known Japanese streams get a copy so we can see a live reaction of their visceral disgust.
I can't wait to hear the games dialogue!
Oda Nobunaga:
"私はあなたの主人です!"
"Watashi wa anata no shujindesu!"
Yasuke: *Native African clicking noises*
Yasuke actually spoke Japanese
Now now Yellaflash! White liberal women know Japan better than the Japanese. I bought this damn game five years ago. It was called Ghost of Tsushima and it was awesome.
This nonsense of yaska really is trying to rewrite history and it is very disgusting
Ubisoft done japanese culture and japanese history dirty
If they were so Hellbent on destroying the legacy and honour of the samurai by turning it into an assassin, they had hundreds of actual samurai from history to choose from. Why the black not samurai? I want to hear their justification for that choice over actual historical figures.
