My personal opinion of dream cast candidates, let me know what you think: Katherine McNamara, Matthew Daddario, Dominic Sherwood, Orlando Bloom, Jackson Rathbone, Taylor Lautner, Emraude Topia, Jordana Brewster, Lyndsy Fonseca, Mia Frampton.
I have been picturing rege-jean page for him this whole time and I'm SO GLAD IM NOT ALONE. He is so beautiful and I honestly think imagining him makes the story better somehow
We will find out soon who the cast will be. Ron Moore, the creator of Outlander, will be bringing this to Hulu as a series. Last time I checked, Rhysand, Feyre and Tamlin had been casted, but they are keeping tight lipped about their identity. Hopefully they will start filming in a month or two. 😊
For me almost all of the main cast you picked felt totally wrong. I can't imagine them for these roles at all. Only Tamlin and Ianthe were a good fit. Especially Rhysand is a totally miss for me. Luckily this actor casted so much at the moment that it would be impossible for him to play this role. I have to admit him as Rhys would have destroyed the whole series for me. Well you see I am quite opinionated when it comes to this character. Sadly Tyler Hoechlin might be too old for this role but he would be a good fit. Also Ian Somerhalder did show us he can portrait this kind of character pretty well. For Lucien I would like Daniel Sharman.
totally agree you cannot mess with how the book characters are supposed to look like feyre can't be black hair asian skin everyone knows she's brown hair creamy skin. and Rhys yes that would've destoryed the entire book series for me same with Feyre. will just have to wait and see but for some of us whom cannot afford to get Hulu will never get to see this amazing series come to life unless they put on DVD. and I'll be one of those people whom won't get to see it all because of it being on a network we cannot afford to get or own. :(
Ian would be amazing as Rhys especially since he does have those very light eyes. I know Rhys has purple eyes but there are a few mentions of his eyes blue. Tyler might be a good role his illyrian brother though.
@@daenerysblack but you can give people with lighter skin a tan pretty easy the other way around it is quite hard. For me it is more about how intense the actor can work with his eyes and also show a strong arrogant facade while you can still have a glimpse that there is something underneath this. The actor chosen here doesn't do this very good in my opinion.
I totally agree. Probably won't be someone famous, though. Rhysand is the one I'm most worried about. According to the book, he's very tall, muscular, and "beautiful". Humm.......that should be easy. NOT!!! 😁
I love your choices! Especially Natalie Dormer for Ianthe, I never thought of it but she would indeed be perfect. My dreamcast for Rhys would be David Berry (Lord John Grey from Outlander). He has this softness in his eyes, that's really how I picture Rhys while reading.
I think TV adaptations can take some creative liberties in character appearances :) As long as they have the same characteristics as the book version! :D
Casey Deidrick would be perfect as Rhys. He has worked on a soap opera, he is tall and handsome, good actor being wasted in In The Dark right now. Check him out!
I think the only one in the main cast that was portrayed as Asian was Ameren, all the Acheron sisters were portrayed as white so were the bat boys (maybe a bit Hispanic with their tans but🤷🏼♀️) I like my characters to look like my books description

I agree with everybody except Mor and Azriral. I pictured her as Oliva Munn, when I was reading the books and more of a young Mads Mikkelsen (from King Arthur 2004.)
Ok, hear me out. Rhys is by far the hardest to cast in my opinion, and I've literally been thinking of options all week. I've been scouring all the shows my husband watches for possibilities, looking at IMDB for tall, dark and handsome actors lol. Ultimately, my favorite pick -- again, hear me out -- is Zac Efron. He's got the swoopy dark hair, the bright eyes and a youthful but mature look. I think the perfect person would be a mix of Henry Cavill and Timothee Chalamet, but I don't think that person exists.
The guy who played as Damon Salvatore should be the one to play as rhysand. For one he fits the most into his description and he has that slightly coky attitude while still being totally drool worthy plus he has proven time and again that he can do a great accent

Plus the cast would be so pretty who WOULDN'T want to watch this? You really nailed it with this one, very nicely done!
why are the sister Asian as her picks? Page as Rhys but not Helion? Momoa as Cass,No he's great but played out. Bonkers as Azriel😅 Hemsworth? Has she read ACOTAR. Bonita as Lucian is a good fit & Ianthe....

Pretty sure the author described Rhys as Tan so the people you want casted wouldn’t fit the description either
