My absolute favorite fragrance! I own two bottles

Same! I’ve been mesmerized by the bottle and have been wondering what this one was like.
I really appreciate this scent, I can feel the tabacco and it’s very unique eventually.

This is my party-signature (haha, i party twice a year, but🥹). It makes me feel like a full life living party-woman.
It is so interesting, because it almost seems we are talking about two different fragrances. I own both, this and Love Tuberose and that one is sweet in a marshmallow kind of way, but Portrayal, I put it away for a year and I had to look up the scent profile since I still don't know what to think of it. I wouldn't have guessed. To me smells maybe peppery or incensy, complex actually, not really sweet and not flowery, not tuberose, and I love that trifecta. It must be overwhelmed by the tobacco and elimi what I am smelling. I also own TF Tobacco Vanille and is nothing like it. I adore the bottle though so I don't want to give it away...😊

I have only smelled the Perfume Parlour version of Portrayal and actually liked it. It was the only Amouage inspired perfume that I liked, I have to admit. That being said, I have not had a chance to smell the real deal. Will be in London in August and have a massive list of fragrances I need to get my nose on. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Always great to hear what you think.
I treasure this fragrance! It reminds me of Christmas time, but I think spicy jasmines trigger this memory for me.

Hi Tom! Another great review! I thought I would let you know that Amouage have made changes to their Library Collection, they are only continuing two, adding another two and releasing a new one, X1V Royal Tobacco. No sign of Opus 1X, which I know was a fav of yours. I can't see that Opus 1X is still available, but hope I'm wrong! All the best to you in your new home! Maddie.

Also, this isn't even my favorite aspect of fragrances at all, but I'd like to see some of your favorite bottles...just for fun!
I noticed there were two different bottle versions of this perfume one with a newer design black cap and one with a more traditional Amouage metallic cap. Not sure if the juice is different. I smelled the one with the metallic cap and that was suhmthing! Yes on the Jasmine adding height to the scent but also the gummy and thick smell of elemi which adds so much depth. In Portrayal, they seemed to unsweeten and thicken the tuberose making it more womanly, but Love tuberose felt like they sweetened Tuberose even more to make it girly. Both are quite different and for different people/occassions

Oh! I’ve been wanting to try this one! Happy to drop the gender distinctions, too! Right, yes, vanillic-sweet tuberose scents are all over the place. I have a bit of a sweet spot for the tuberose & jasmine combo! Will have to check this out! Many thanks for the learning! 🙏❤️

Actually on me, the tobacco not is quite prominent and the perfume smells divine. It is my current signature perfume. It's not about white florals..it's about white floral-tobacco-vanilla. It's sexy and confidence inducing. Commercial? Ntz ntz ntz...
