- Hello, Tomas Leijon in Sweden here again! How about a trip on my 7 1/4" railcar on a friends nice track in the Stockholm archipelago. The railway is a private venture in his own garden. My little railcar is powered by dual power units from Maxitrack in England. The original railcar ran on the Tralee and Dingle railway (1892-1953) on Irland. Film made with DJI Osmo in oktober 2019. I loved all the lichen, mosses and scenery, but I would have liked to see a little more of the train itself.

This is awesome. I guess it must have been difficult to weave the track in between those huge boulders. I really like the back look overlooking the lake (sea).

That's a really nice idea, but those metal tracks are too expensive for most people. You might be able to do the same thing with concrete runners; they don't cost much. You could even pour them yourself, if you have a few hundred hours to spare! I suppose if you bought them, each concrete three foot U-shaped runner would cost around ten dollars. 10 guage sheet metal runners would work too, but they would have to be painted every year.
I would have paid good money to have seen a grown man travelling around that little track on a cart, even better about thirty grown men on little carts going around that track. Hilarious!
