Mont Tremblant 2018/07/28

Short race chasing around an 016 Atlantic at Le Circuit Mont-Tremblant in Quebec as part of the "Formula Libre" class.
Start was slightly disorganized since folks weren't lined up the way they were supposed to, but the race ended up great fun.

A very nice performance. You always had him under braking, but he had a massive power advantage (over 100 hp extra) and could always run away on the straights. I adore that track (3,000 laps in FF1600 from 1979-1980 and PCA 911s from 2002-2006). Great driving!

@@jakelatham Your car looks like an F2000 of some sort. Your driving is very clean.

@@epistte Not too far off. Very similar to an F2000, except has a 1000cc motorcycle engine, so 50ish more horsepower and 200-300# less. (1000 with me). It's known as an F1000.

Great video, great race, very nice driving! Thanks so much for sharing. I got to go there for the Jim Russell School a couple times back in the 90's. It was very memorable. A really fun and interesting circuit.
