The new Paradise Beer Garden is now open on MacArthur Highway, it is an open air bar with food drink free pool live music free karaoke and comedy at night. There are Special Prices going on right now so it'd be to your advantage to get over there and check this new location out.
I also take a limited tour of the Lewis Grand Hotel which is up for sale, this hotel has been closed for several years and recently went on the market, come see what this beautiful hotel looks like and how much they are asking.

Being a regular at the Paradise Beer Garden, i was pleased to see it featured both her and on Anne's Channel.
It is the nearest thing we have to a pub here in AC where you can sit at the bar and chat with friends.
It also reminds me of CHEERS.
The staff are very friendly ss well.

Nice video, Chad! I like beer gardens especially with live bands. The owner seems like a really nice guy. We checked out that place once, what it used to be which wasn’t much so I hope the new place is more successful. Have fun during your meet and greet. I first met Lewis (owner of Lewis Grand Hotel) 16 years ago at Champaign Bar on Fields Avenue.
He was 32 at the time and I was 31.
I remember Lewis telling me that he was going to build the biggest hotel in Angeles City near Perimeter Road. At the time, I didn't know if I should believe him or not because he was so young.
But next thing I know, Lewis built his hotel.
Throughout the years, I would hangout with Lewis because he was a real cool guy.
But then when he became the owner of the 3 bars on Fields Avenue and his bars got raided by the cops, his whole world came crashing down.
I last saw Lewis at SM Mall on Clark with a Filipina and we talked about his bars getting raided by the cops.
Lewis told me that he was doing everything he could to stay away from Fields Avenue and that he simply was keeping a "Low Profile" but that he was just feeling really down.
The conversation I had with Lewis at SM Mall Clark was the last time I saw him.
As time went on, it was reported that Lewis went missing and that he was nowhere to be found.
Later, all kinds of rumors were spread throughout Angeles City about what happened to his disappearance.
sounds like he fell in with the wrong crowd, owed money to the wrong people and things spiraled out of control 😢
I always thought Gerard or his son would snatch that place up. Gonna cost over a million just to bring it back and fine tune all the plumbing and electrical and a severe deep cleaning. Was a great spot back when it was new and a close competitor to ABC Hotel just down the street.
The reason it has stood in limbo so long is issues with the titles and corporation that owns the property. No one wants to buy into legal problems. With the slow moving of the legal system here, you could spend all your time, and a lot of money, in court.
Yea with the still missing owner/partner must’ve made it all that much more complicated and difficult I’m sure.

Beer garden reminds me of something you’d see in Pattaya. There was a decent size empty lot for sale right behind Lewis Grand. I imagine that is what the other sign is advertising. Old American Hotel right down the road is for sale too, at half the price. Can buy it and have $8 mil left to do a gut rehab. Hope whoever buys that doesn’t change the paint job.

Hey chubs thanks for the tour… I used to stay at the sunset garden back in the day when it was alive and fun. Every night I walk by the Louis Grand on my way out, fun times. The new beer garden, we’re not clear where it’s located, I know it’s down on the highway but witch way, to the left or right of McDonalds as yr standing on walking st looking at the highway.

I remember back then they had a couple of pool tables I'd play on with some friends and order food at that outside bar area next to the swimming pool. They also held a U.S. Embassy outreach service for citizen services that we went to to get passport renewed and VA, SSS, etc. About 9 or 10 years ago. Wow, the memories. @@chubsDubC I just saw recently on FB that they either already had or are going to have an Embassy outreach sometime soon in AC....I just don't remember where it was....but it was there in town....
@chubsDubC Yes there was one last April 26th on Clark. We went there and got our passports renewed. You can monitor when they'll come to A.C again on the U.S. Embassy website. I think they do outreach 3 to 4 times a year.

Nice to see draft beer showing up in more places now. AC needs to draw the tourists in to support all the hotels and businesses. I’m not sure walking street action is enough to do it anymore but you guys are there and in the know. I enjoyed this video very much….especially the I’m on a diet remark….I use it often….then laugh very hard. BTW Anne seems very happy and talkative….which is a good thing.

Yes years ago that hotel was super grand and the nicest hotel in town,,sorry to say but the hotels on Clark outshine this place now and have slots for the weakest humans..😊
