I’m a new locksmith 3 years in exactly an Sir let let me just say this video was absolutely amazing an very informative an helpful I was able to break this lock down an reset the code that was previously set thank you so much
Worked like a charm. Only criticism is when you demonstrate something don’t have two of the same numbers especially when it’s the first and last. That makes it not crystal clear as to which disk represents the first or the last number in the combination.
Hi, I’m having an issue I hope I can get some help on. I have a 4 tumbler mosler safe I bought with unknown combo. I fallowed this video to change the combo but now after I enter it when the gate drops I have the problem where I can’t reset the dial. It stays locked only allowing enough movement to lock/unluck the bolt. Only way to reset is to take the tumbler plate out. Any ideas? Any info would be appreciated!
I have an old one made of brass. I changed the numbers but it's not opening. I was wondering if the 3rd wheel, which is on top, has to be in a certain place tonstrat
9:00 - With plastic wheel packs wouldn't it be possible to heat the safe with a torch to make the plastic soft and twist the dial to force the gate down into the soft heated plastic?
I don't know about this particular lock, but most of these locks have thermal relockers which get triggered at relatively low temperature (i.e. ~170 F), much lower than the melting point of those wheels.

Very helpful, thank you.
Very cool. Kind of like the innards of a Kidde dial combination key box.
Thanks, great video!

Mechanism be.purchased ?
Don't ever delete this video. LOL
What happens if you pop the disk/wheel apart like you did and just put the center back in and not the outer part with the numbers?
Thanks for the information

BUEN VIDEO GRACIAS ME SIRVIO. ¿NO TIENE UN MANUAL PORFAVOR?
Did Mosler safe locks have changeable combos like this in 1914? Or did the combo always correlate with the gate?
