Mosler Safe/file cabinet sequence

Mosler Safe/file cabinet sequence- Mosler MRK-302 Sequence
I just purchased a Mosler File Cabinet from the government and I was told it was reset to default combination ( 50L x4, 25R x3, 50L x2, 0 ) but I can't open it- What am I doing wrong?
Is my sequence correct?
Any pointers?
Can I drill on the dial and get it open eventually and buy/replace the dial/tumbler/lock?

4 left to 50, 3 right to 25 (pass twice stop on third), two left to 50 (pass once stop on second), turn dial right until it stops. Don’t worry about stopping on a number

those safes usually have a falesafe to keep locksmiths from using an autodialer on it....You must GO SLOW....if you turn it fast it WILL NOT unlock.

This lock is one of many that was susceptible to an auto dialer. It was taken out of service by GSA for that reason.
