I've lived about 15 mins away from NYC my entire life. This summer, I made it an effort to really embrace the beauty of the city. I've gone there hundreds of times throughout the years, but never intentionally soaked it all in. I made sure to do that this year. The art, architecture, and nature of New York is unlike anything else. I did touristy things, which as a "local" doesn't happen too often.
