I wasn’t suggesting Doug Ford is responsible for critical race theory in general, in fact I’m sure he opposes it personally, but he’s done nothing to get it out of Ontario classrooms even though it was a major promise he made while campaigning and a big reason why many of us voted for him the first time. Now, he doesn’t do anything that doesn’t benefit him financially, just like almost all politicians. He’s a crook.

I had to learn CRT, post colonialism, feminism, Marxism and gender-queer theories in my English class. I remember my teacher saying the curious George, yes the little monkey is racist and many classic literatures such as Jack and the bean stalk appeal to these so called “gender roles” and and many more ludicrous things. That was in my grade 12 year.
Grade 11 was all about shaming Canadian history based on the treatment of natives. I tried fighting back but my teachers just told me to comply.
I’m scared for the future. I have a feeling things have gotten worse in the English curriculum

We are only beginning to reap what they have sown. Put simply if you can't express your beliefs or culture or opinion outside of work you are forced to believe what your employer believes. It's literally the opposite of rights and freedoms to express belief without fear of discrimation or prosecution. So if your fired only for a belief or opinion it's clearly discrimination and soon the new internet censor law will create the prosecution part. This is actually being allowed by judges too.

This needs to go to court so light can be brought upon it. Crowd funding for a lawsuit should happen. This is disturbing as DEI is being used as a weapon. The idea of DEI seems innocent because everyone wants to help people, but it's not, as it's not inclusive and it's racist in it direction and hires on skin color(s) and not proficiency leading to hire people that are inept lacking mental skill or abilities for which a job the needs, especially high safety jobs. I know they can do both but they don't because we see the the subpar hires and the lack of metrics used during the hiring process, which is not even close to some of the standards needed for some of these jobs where there's almost zero room for errors. That's is bad for society and all ethnicities with or without color on our planet.
DEI has already begun to infiltrate the aviation industry and the pilot associations are making a LOT of noise about it.

Bottom line ? I won’t be getting on an airplane anytime soon - if ever again.

OK I'm oldschool but when I was young I had only one indigenous friend because they were forced into residential schools; remember that racist history Canada?

For me it wasn't so noticeable because i lived in a large cosmopolitan city. Residential school info was never taught to us.
That is not happening now and no one alive now wants that or would support that evil.

I went to school in alberta and we had lots of 1st nations kids in our school,70s. However now all of us are being erased pushed out and replaced by mass immigration. Small town is unrecognizable.
