Just the sheer fact how close it was goes to show how much skill and luck it actually takes to be a speedrunner

TAS doesn't have anything to do with supercomputers. A Tool Assisted Speedrun is created by humans with tools like savestates, frame advance and RAM watch, with the result being a sequence of inputs that can be played back in an emulator. A TAS is supposed to represent a theoretically perfect run, but it is only as good as the humans who create it.
A real time speedrun is a performance, a TAS is a composition.
I guess that means everyone who makes music with a DAW is a "supercomputer" under his logic.

Just a ting : a tas(tool asistent speedrun as you probably know) îs made by a human but with a emulator to do things that a human can't normal do, (like frame perfect imputs, very hard tricks, pixel perfect, etc...)so if you knew what e tas is, great, but if you didn't know what a tas is, well now you know

Despite the misinformation shared at the start of this video,
It's not actually a computer doing the run.
It's mostly a human playing the game using slowdowns, frame advance, save states, etc. in order to achieve a theoretical flawless run.
New strategies and discoveries can render old TAS's obsolete.
After the TAS is completed, the inputs of the player's TAS is recorded, and thus, can be played back for standard viewing.
It's a person who makes the run, not a computer.
Though, the TASer may use scripts, etc. to brute force some areas- But doing this for an entire run would take a very, very VERY long time.
Don't spread misinformation, please.
