Bowman + Sawmill + Faucherie Lake || Escape to the Sierras

- We took our 100-series Toyota Landcruiser offroad through Bowman Lake, Sawmill Lake, and Faucherie Lake to eventually find a campground at Canyon Creek. We escaped Sacramento's heat wave to discover hidden waterfalls tucked away in the Sierra Nevada's. Aside from being attacked by vicious mosquitos, we had the best time exploring this unique area. There were countless swimming holes and multiple backpacking sites along our hike; we plan to come back soon!
Our channel is dedicated to exploring the outdoors, including hiking, camping, overlanding, fishing, foraging, and much more. We live in beautiful Northern California with easy access to alpine lakes, the Sierra Nevada's, as well as the pacific coastline and San Francisco. We are committed to exploring as much of this geographic area as we can to foster our love for the outdoors. Thanks for joining on our journey!

I live just outside nevada city close to the tahoe forest boundary. I have spent most my life primarily in el dorardo,tahoe, sierra and plumas forest. Cannot get enough of Norcal outdoors! Great video

Excellent video! I really like the quick overland camping trip type video that you two made. It had a bit of overland, camping and hiking all in a few days. I especially like that it was a northern Cali location and that it had excellent narration of your trip.
Videos with good narration of a trip in Northern Cali are lacking on CZcams. Mostly there are videos with just the visual portion but no narration of the trip. Great job again and keep posting those Northern Cali overland trips!

I followed your guide and went to Lake Bowman and Faucherie Lake. Both beautiful. The Hidden Falls was easy to walk to and amazing. Our was cold, bit I still jumped in!

Canyon Creek campground. Everything around Bowman was packed but Canyon Creek was surprisingly half empty!
Canyon creek campground needs reservation or first come first served? Was this on faucherrie lake?

I don’t have exact coordinates but if you look for the stream feeding Faucherie lake it’s not hard to find the trail!
