Program Description: "I am chasing the light with my voice" -- "Super Vocal" is the first inspirational vocal music competition program in the country. With musicians/artists Liao Changyong, Shang Wenjie, and Henry Lau as producers, the 36 members will alternate between being Principals and Understudies. Through young and fresh methods, this program will overturn the public's inherent impression of classical music and lead them to better understand the unique charm of vocal music. The audience can expect to hear quality bel canto (opera and musical) performances and witness the growth of these 36 performers, as well as the interactions between the producers and the members.

@@cristina8868 no, lower notes are harder. Reaching low and still clear and audible is very difficult. And at the end of the day, it all comes to the range. The trio has an amazing range and they can execute different singing styles with great control seamlessly. And of course the emotions they put in this legendary song!
@@Oleander3333 depends on your range lol it's hard for a bass to reach 5th or even 4th notes. And it's hard for a contra tenor to support bass notes.

This is one of my favorite songs. And this is maybe the most beautiful rendering of it I've ever heard. Their beautiful voices bring tears to my eyes. Simon and Garfunkel would be so proud to hear this.

He is 王晰, English name is Elvis Wang. He's well known for his bass voice, but he can sing from low C to high C.
loveballetmuch his speaking voice is also as deep as when he sings. You can check the ep.1 of Super vocal, you can hear his voice at the introduction; or his other interviews. Super duper cool.

It’s interesting to see the arguments that people are having here: some think this one of the best covers ever, some think it doesn’t compare to the original or the Disturbs or to some other singers.. some even criticize their English not being pronounced correctly so it’s a distraction to the song.. But really all that these three wanted was to sing a good song that could win them the challenge of that one episode in Super Vocal! 😆. These three were not a group, they only teamed together for this one episode and had days to prepare for this performance so.. yes, personally I give them lots of credit for this effort. And it’s an honor that people are comparing them with professional singers’ covers, really, because these three are just contestants in a singing show. I hope they can hear a little bit of the fuzz they are causing, they’d be so proud!! 😊

I thought they had done some previous shows and competitions but in no way they had ever released personal albums?? Maybe we just have a different concept of what it is to be a “professional singer”. Also, I meant their version of the song was not exactly professionally oriented as the other singer’s versions because they only sang the song as part of challenge for the show: the other singers did their versions in a professional manner as a group. No need for you to be so defensive, in no way I am saying anything bad about the super vocal men, I have fallen in love with their voices and I am totally mesmerized by Wang Xi’s charm and smile. 😊

@@ashuurraa Disturbed and Pentatonix are awesome but this trio is right up there with them. Harmony is amazing and all three voices are beautiful. Pitch perfect. I do have to say that Pentatonix is the best but you have to consider how long they've been singing together. These three young men just sang together on this song for the show. Superbly done.

Their voices are deep and amazing especially the middle one
That is because this show was about bel canto style singing, so it sounds like opera. In bel canto, there are different parts. The one in the middle was a 男低音 which translates to "male deep note"
The middle one’s name is Elvis Wang. He’s bass.
That gentleman’s name is Wang Xi. He was one of the most experienced participants in that show. His voice is so amazingly deep. Every song that he was part of in that show was delightful, you should look them up. And he was such a sweet and fun guy to watch.. he totally stole my heart! 😊
