- We’re buzzing as this week we welcome back one of our favourite guests to have donned the hot seat, Ally McCoist!
Ally returns to discuss his Scotland career with stories galore from his first cap to playing in various major tournaments with the country including Italia 90 and Euro 96.
The former Rangers striker also touches upon his time coaching the national team alongside Walter Smith as they set the team on their way in a dramatic Euro 2008 qualifying group.
And of course we couldn’t leave him without asking about his unconventional commentary techniques at this year’s World Cup alongside broadcasting stalwart Jon Champion! - Sport

Ally refers to Tam presumably Tommy Burns whom he was a pallbearer at his funeral I believe, it does show what a player, personality and a human being this man is/was ...legend

Ally is a legend....had the absolute delight of meeting him when he brought the Gers to Sacramento. This was a great walk down memory lane regarding so many Scotland games I remember. Ally is a genuine guy, kept his word to me when I went home to Scotland and went to see my beloved Rangers. Simply the best ! Saw him score two hat-tricks against Celtic, one at Hampden and the other at Ibrox...never forget it. Always appreciate too his friendships across the great divide. Thanks Ally, my favorite Ger of all time.

Brilliant hearing his insight and anecdotes, and you've got to hand it to him he had to go through a lot of setbacks and disappointment in his Scotland career. Should have started more games at Italy 90, should have gone to France 98 and maybe even Mexico 86. Scored some vital goals for Scotland, could have got even more if he was given the chance. But what we'd give to have another striker of his calibre for Scotland today.

I would have liked to listen to this but i cant understand the interviewer!!!!!
Should have asked him about the two emails between him and Charles Green.
1. McCoist told Green that if he wanted his backing to get Rangers fans on side then he wanted the same salary he was on in the SPL and 1% of the shares at 1p each. As long as he was financially rewarded he would dupe the Rangers fans.
2. When Green had to publish personnel's salaries, McCoist emailed him in a panic, telling Green that he better not publish his salary.
Both emails got leaked online and the source was proven to be a credible source as other information they leaked was used in court against Craig Whyte.
I remember watching Hibs v Rangers game at Easter Road when Ally and Colin West spent the whole game spitting in the face of Hibs defender Mark Fulton came over to take a throw in he ran his hand over his face which was dripping in spit the most disgusting things I've ever seen.
Who got picked in 1986 ahead of him? Ridiculous he wasn't picked for the squad. Almost as ridiculous as gilmour and patterson not even being brought off the bench against the Czech Republic. Craig brown was also a dick for not playing him aswell, seem to have a habit over the years of not picking the best options for the national teams. It's like the Scotland managers have to stick it to what the rest of us think on purpose for some reason
