Paul McCartney Surprise Performance in Times Square NYC 10-10-2013

- Paul McCartney played a unannounced (until 1 hour before), surprise, performance in Times Square New York City, on Oct 10, 2013. He played four tracks from his NEW album...NEW, Save Us, Everybody Out There, and Queenie Eye. Queenie Eye, I believe, was played for the first time live here. He played from the back of a truck, and was limited to 15 minutes. It was very spur of the moment, very secret, very surprise. This is the complete performance from where I stood. : )
This is one of the advantages of living in NYC. People like Paul do surprise concerts like this. 50 years after the Beatles break up, Americans still go mad for Paul and Ringo. So much love has been exchanged between Paul and the U.S. He always says, "See You Next Time" and he means it!

I love Paul...he enjoys making music, big or large crowds...free or with a fee, he loves doing it. You can feel his love for music.

Paul is the greates artist ever. Other great ones I think... are/were The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Neil Young, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan and Led Zeppelin, they all play or played in the highest league ever... but as a performing artist... nobody beats Paul, not even his old band from Liddypool... :-)

Macca does not need to do any new music in my view. He has a vast catalog of Beatles and Wings hits and can play those for hours. New album? I prefer his classic songs.
But I guess this is one of the reasons he has achieved so much in music. He doesn’t rest on his laurels and keeps striving to do more. He’s like a workaholic who enjoys his work too much.
