"I got another 10-20 years left in me still." Still riding today at almost 52. I am 44 and still riding as well. But I bet Dennis would kill to be 27 again now as would I lol.
Ha! I'm the one interviewing him. It was for 20" Video Magazine, I think our first issue. Anyway, we were rolling on the floor when he said 20 years! We thought 27 was super old and that he would be lucky to make it past 30. Glad he proved himself right!
I remember BMX Pros... that parking lot sucked lol. I did a demo with Dennis there once. BMX Brigade days man. Spent sever years riding with D and the Brigade... We terrorized the streets ok KC. Dennis always had this natural ability to get out of any scrape. A crash that would have sent me to the hospital he just managed to walk away from lol. I had so much fun with him... best time of my life.
he just said that he wouldn't be able to compete flatland because he had too much time off. he said being away for 1 year is too long to compete w the best flatlanders. he's been too busy being into building ramps and riding so if that answers ur question

Do you have any other footage? Everytime you rode with him, did DMC ride like it was his last day on earth? Or did it depend on his mood?

I don't unfortunately. I got this footage from another website. I would name the website, but everytime I do, youtube keeps deleting my comments.

Cool. So was DMC a natural or what? Or did he bust his ass working on tricks?
