Ford Puma 😍😍😍 I love it
Very respectable power and top speed not bad, especially considering its a tiny 1.0 engine so great job from ford, perfectly quick enough for uk roads, pumas are nice cars, i fancy the puma st with 1.5t engine an 200bhp or the new focus st diesel with 190hp which is really economical and sporty, puma st in mean green or focus st in orange fury 👌👌😁🏴

Elle et top cette caisse jai la meme en boite auto 8 rapport elle marche fort malgré que cest un 125ch 🔥
J'ai toujours apprécié Ford une très bonne marque mais je pense que avec la boîte auto sur ce modèle elle doit être nettement plus confortable car j'ai pas trouvé la boîte manuelle sur ce véhicule au top

Porque este puma no tiene la las revoluciones y km en digital?
Porque es la versión más básica del puma, la Titanium. La versión st line ya lleva pantalla, y las más caras, como es obvio, también.

Overall it is well soundproofed but at this speed it’s noisy.
Domanda: ad alte velocità (es. autostradali) quanto inficia sulla frenata il fatto che i freni posteriori siano a tamburo? Tra l'altro è una scelta che non capisco: è nata con i dischi per tutte le motorizzazioni e solo nel 2021 hanno deciso di lasciarli al posteriore solo per la versione da 150 cv. Non capisco questo passo indietro.
Grazie per il tuo commento. Non influisce molto sulla frenata. Penso che se Fiat e altri marchi mettono i freni a tamburo sia per costi economici. E per quanto ne so quando la potenza del motore è superiore a 120 CV devono mettere i freni a disco sul retro.
Het is geen stap terug. Tegenwoordig gebruikt men vaak trommelremmen achter (ook voor de zelfs zware EV’s). Voordelen zijn: minder onderhoud en de velgen blijven schoon. Meer rem-oppervlak dan een remschijf. Nadeel: ze kunnen slechter hun warmte kwijt. En zijn gevoeliger voor indringend vocht.
Als je geen rally’s rijd, dan voldoen ze prima. 👌
This gearbox is too long. The top speed is achieved in 4th gear. 5th might be ok but in 6th the revs are too low and the engine can't gain more speed.
I own a Ford Focus MK4 1.0 EcoBoost 125 - which I presume has the exact same gearbox as the Puma - and it hits its top speed in 5th gear. It tops out at 216 km/h flat or 221 km/h downhill. That's obviously in good conditions, with little to no head wind, but generally speaking the top speed always hovers around 210 km/h. 6th gear is basically an overdrive, but even then it can maintain a pretty considerable speed for such a small engine and it makes it pretty economical for cruising along under the national speed limits.
The gearbox is perfectly scaled for this engine in my opinion. It's not meant to be an Autobahn bomber nor is it going to win any races.
@@mikerelvas Actually I was speaking from experience on portuguese roads. With shorter gear ratios the engine would be in the optimal power band more often. I agree with a longer 6th gear for consumption. In a 6th speed gearbox with a 1.0 engine it doesn't make senso to have a 4th gear passing the 200km/h.
I think there is another gearbox for this engjnes with shorter gears and they feel spot on.
@@MikePT15 Not sure if 4th gear hits 200 km/h but, if it does, the engine is already out of its power band anyway. Maybe a shorter final drive would help but I am pretty happy with mine. For such a small engine it is quite impressive what it can do. Just a shame I got it right before the MHEV 155 was released, as that one has a slightly larger turbo and should be marginally quicker.
Still great cars though.
