- This is my ark survival evolved how to build on a castle keep and is the first of a few builds I will be doing on the structures that make up a castle. this build is sped up a bit to keep the video within a reasonable time frame, if the video is too fast then you can slow It down on youtube if needed. id like to here your feedback and know what part of a castle I should build next.

Thanks man! Im actually working on a medieval builds playlist so that if people wanted they could build a town. It will include various houses, a blacksmiths shop, a barracks, a market area, a castle wall, a tavern and other builds.

i love historically accurate castles builds in games especially ones about the most common type of castle like what you have in this 10 out of 10.

So, definitely not hating as I LOVE the castle, it's such a cool design... but for anyone trying to replicate this make sure you pay CAREFUL attention to what he does here, because he does skip steps and some things aren't shown in the video. Also of note, there isn't any organic access to the second story of the castle, so you'll need to figure that out yourself, and you'll have to fix a few of the areas because of his own designs, and lastly it pays to watch the video multiple times as sometimes he'll go back and revise stuff.
Again, not hating on the video, on Sypher, or the build, but there are flaws that anyone attempting this build need to know about. Especially those who don't have access to creative mode or boosted resource farming and taming!
At 3:50 you placed the stone ceiling half way in, confused at how you did this.
Yeah, just posted this, too. I did some quick research and found out that you have to check the "disable structure placement collision" in the general tab right before you go into your world. That allows you to clip things that you normally couldn't together.

Built this exact castle made a fair amount of changes. Had room for griffins and everything we needed.
Awsum relatively easy to build . Love the speed you built to not to fast or to slow could follow nicely. Thanks for showing this

I'm building this now, but I'm trying to figure out how you snap the ceilings to begin the buttresses halfway into the wall at around 4 minute mark? What are you snapping to?

How do you make the ceilings slice through the outer wall when you already have ceilings on the other side. I tried following this and every time I try it says it’s obstructed.
Disable structure clipping/obstruction in settings

If u want to know how many builds he use just look at the left it always says something like this: 7 stoned foundation removed. That’s how I kept up

On Cue of course! I’m admin on my friends server so I build a bunch of things for them and I just love to listen and watch for ideas from time time while I build!

I love the build, but following this was difficult, there where times when you restarted the video, and you had built some of the build without it being recorded... it is a good build, and I did manage to do this, but with my own adjustments. I don't know if this was intended, but you had forgotten to show how you get to the ground floor

If your dedicated to building this then this takes at least a day and couple of hours to build it will be easier if you have a doedicorious(stone gatherer)the moose Dino(thatch gatherer)and a beaver Dino (wood gatherer)use a quetzal to get off of it and place builds down without the bird moving when you dismount.A griffin can back up while in flight mode and is very fast too

Anyone else having an issue with putting the stone ceiling into the castle it keeps saying the object is obstructed
If you are playing on official then you are going to run into some clipping problems but if not then go into general settings and go down until you see an option that says 'disable structure placement collision' and press it
I built this in prim+ though I modified it to my own tastes. But I greatly appreciate the video

The build is nice and I've been trying to follow how to do it, but one problem is when he decides to skip ahead when I'm trying to see what he's doing, I miss parts where I don't understand what he did

Awsome build absolutly loved it tough i was playing on unofficail server to test it out and really enjoyed it but guess what admin banned me cause they said it caused lag but. All by all its a good base u can do alot in i really enjoyed it tough it was for a short amount off time

BECAUSE OF THE FREAKIN STRUCTURE LIMIT GOD DANG IT
So here the thing, whenever I'm building anything, I need to press the button again and again in order to put building stuff(foundations, walls etc).
So is there no way to make it so that they would automatically keep on coming without us needing to manually press the button to summon them?
Not that I know of, this is how I've always done it since creative released

Playing on Xbox prim plus my buddy and group of friends server there is no large stone wall or tax base is that a thing that’s like a mod or non prim plus? If so how many stone walls are in the large stone wall I plan on building this
Its on xbox so no mods and il get a material list if i didn't do one for this, it will be a pinned comment on thus video
