Definitely keep him. He’s become critical to Spurs’ Ange driven success - he’s fast, evasive and creating assists continually - and he’s clearly well liked by other players and therefore great for team harmony. It’s a no brainer. Sign him ASAP

Even if Werner loses a little pace he is still faster than most players he also has skill on the ball and beats players with skill rather than speed.

The number of times he gets free to cross from the left makes me want to keep him. I can accept a few fluffed chances of he keeps delivering dangerous crosses like he has been. Sign him up. He's cheap too.

I’m 100% with Ben. Werner as a rotational/occasional starter is a great option. Bring in somebody like Nico Williams as well and now our front line is looking strong and deep.

Ppl need to remember when he first came to us he was out of match fitness and form. He's getting up to full speed and confidence now.

Its a very easy answer. Keep him. Even if you get a better winger, you can use him as a substitute. He creates problems for the opposition and is able to create chances. In relation to goals, he may even improve, but if he doesn't, who cares, he can make a lot of contribution and if you keep him for next year, you could probably sell him for a bit more then you got him for. Keep him for one more year.

I can appreciate the positive contributions he’s made and the good vibes he brings, but only for squad depth should we be considering permanently signing him.
Just before the January transfer window we were struggling with options on the left. Now we have it, and it's been productive, fans like Asthmatic can't see beyond their own nose. He's a win win signing
My litmus test is: Do you see player of Timo's quality being useful for the true contender for PL title or even CL.
I cannot see him in starting XI but I can see him in a role of pace injector when defences are struggling with the pace, providing width and stretching the defensive formations. He's 28 so we know exactly what he can and cannot do and we can project ROI on those 15M. My concern is the "homegrown content" so I'd prefer domestic player for this role
