“Threw out the lifeline, saved my life...” God has done just that for me. #VictoryOverStroke He brought me back, y’all! I thought I was gone 5/3, I had woke up with no movement on my right side, and I couldn’t speak. Had it not been for God bringing my wife home from work early that day, who knows what would’ve happened. I was in ICU for 3 days. I was told I had a blockage around my heart which sent a clot to the right side of my brain, which they were able to get most of it out in time. At the time, my heart was only going at a rate of 31 beats per minute. But, like I said (and I thank the doctors and nurses - and especially my Proverbs 31, Deb - for being there), God brought me back, and I type this as a testimony! I have 💯 percent movement of every limb, I can talk with limits in my speech, but even that’s improving daily. Most importantly, my full memory is intact. Only thing extra, I now have a pacemaker. All the doctors said that they are shocked at how I regained most of my strength in such a short time, considering the kind of stroke I had. Most people wouldn’t have come back at the same success rate. *OH, BUT GOD!* I’m proof that He’s real, and NO ONE can tell me otherwise!! HALLELUJAH!

I was born with a heart condition, and I was expected to die as a baby. The doctors tried to tell my parents to abort me, but they said no. I survived three heart surgeries before age 5 and I beat the odds. Throughout my life, I struggled emotionally and spiritually. I even denied God for a brief time. This song is so anointed that it was being played in nightclubs when I was a kid. Old-schoolers were hatin' saying that it was too "worldly" because sinners were playing and dancing to it in clubs then I heard someone say "What better place for it to be played? Those are the ones who need it the most." I bet you there was a problem drinker sitting at the bar in "Henry's Palace" one Saturday night and was about to take his next shot of Hennessy and heard this classic playing and said to himself "Forgive Me Lord! This song is so anointed that it was being played in nightclubs when I was a kid. Old-schoolers were hatin' saying that it was too "worldly" because sinners were playing and dancing to it in clubs then I heard someone say "What better place for it to be played? Those are the ones who need it the most." I bet you there was a problem drinker sitting at the bar in "Henry's Palace" one Saturday night and was about to take his next shot of Hennessy and heard this classic playing and said to himself "Forgive Me Lord! This has got to stop! You know what? I'm going to church tomorrow!"
I don't know who I love the best The Clarke Sisters or the Pace Sisters. Both brought joy to me when I heard them sing. Such Anointed and talented Groups.

One of my all time favorite gospel songs. I saw the documentary of The Clark Sisters on Unsung. I was nearly brought to tears. Those sisters are truly rooted in the word of God.
Love this song! Anytime I feel a bit down and things begin to look bleak, I listen to it and it picks me up right way. Reminds me that there is always hope and goodness. God is truly great!
