I scored 6/13. I got the four checker play problems completely correct. On one problem, I counted a failure to beaver as getting the cube action wrong. So I guess I need to work on my cube action.
Regarding #11: The split doesn't accomplish a whole lot. You have plenty of mobility as it is, and making the 3 (your most likely anchor) is not much of a bargain when opponent has the 9. As you also pointed out, you'll get hit quite a lot on either side of the board, so the slot isn't that likely to lead to making the bar point anyway. Lifting turns a vulnerable builder into a safe builder at no sacrifice to the # of diversified builders. 6/2*(2) isn't too bad as a blitzing game plan is attractive given your relative board strength and chance to freeze the blot on the 7 for next turn if black dances. I've also noticed that XG seems to like freezing development when your opponent has a checker or two on the 9 (most underrated point in backgammon), so here it's saying "Hit on the bar, but any hit will do."
Thank you very informative

Number seven: With Jacoby the double seemed mandatory.
