He asks the girl out, records the fun they supposedly had before knowing they'd go on a channel-appropriate adventure, and coincidentally they travel to a rugged landscape to camp and have fun. It seems to be clearly staged. My guess is that she/they reached out to him, knowing the channel, and wanted to invite him along-he agreed, and he tried to make it seem spontaneous. Like all social media, there's a real danger of faking pristinely executed adventures, it gives people false expectations concerning life. And honestly, he seems too awkward and dorky to have succeeded from his merits alone. Calling a girl a 'cute girl' sounds like he's still in middle school.

Mav is living the dream. Meets random beautiful girl and ends up spending the weekend with her in Moab. Makes a lot of friends and probably a lot of memories. Sure beats sleeping in your truck alone in a snow storm for three days.

Oh, his videos are the best! My mom's side of the family are all hunters and fishermen. My grandfather taught me how to fish, and I loved it from day one. My grandfather did fly fishing, lake and river fishing, ice fishing, and they even chartered a boat for fishing a few times!

I live in Ontario and when ever I go car camping it’s always in like the Forrest, I would absolutely love to go to a place like this one day!! So beautiful and seems like such a great time, these kids are so lucky they get to do this in there state! Everyone needs to enjoy nature around them cause every where is truly a beautiful place
