So many people worked so hard on this video, and the results were incredible. Thank you, Meg. Your performance was... breathtaking. The scenes with those contacts are either really cool, or really terrifying. I've never been able to decide which. Brian, Nikki, Joe, Chris... Never looked so creepy. What an amazing vision! I can't imagine what this cost to put together, but its worth every frame.

If there were an MTV like the early 80's, this would go monster and this band would be packing arenas. This video would be on heavy rotation. The song bores into your head , "ladies and gentlemen!" The Better Nature album is much more cohesive and potentially accessible to the mainstream than previous ones, several unbelievable songs there. Their best yet.

I remember seeing them at a FREE show here in STL. They rocked, but unfortunately the concert was cut a bit short due to a huge thunderstorm that was coming. It was an outside show, and the lightning in the background was like a natural light show, fucking bad ass!!
I remember that. I was so pissed. That was the same weekend that Kings of Leon stopped playing cause of bird shit...or so they say, haha. SSPU rocked it at the Peabody.

Growing up in the 90's as a teenager... This song could have been used in Natural Born Killer's.... NIN, Sisters of Mercy etc from that Era... Great track always loved it.
That bass though, always great to have in my ears! I just want the music, could do without all the acting around it in this video, but I respect that artists have to live out their vision. Love this band and it's great to see them back at it.
I personally believe they get better with every album, and I have faith that the rest of Better Nature will be just as perfect as this song. They've been my favourite band ever since Swoon, and yet I still wait to see them live one day in the UK. This tour, maybe. Fingers crossed.

Where was I when this song came out? Oh, that's right. I was in an insane asylum! Missed out on a lot of good music, but I'm here to embrace what I've missed for the past 10 yrs.
On first listen it sounds a long way from being one of their best songs, but am so damn glad to have them back, been so starved of decent new albums this year.

I love all the little sonic nods to earlier songs with riffs and samples in the background. Great song, I have hoped for more of a direction back to heavier instrumental focused songs( if that makes any sense) similar to the first two albums and less of the electronic influence but I'm definitely not mad at this at all. It's just the drummer is so flippin good and this song sort of sounds like more of a robotic version of his stuff. Still not bad at all! I just love these guys so much. Can't wait for the album and the tour. Haha whoooo!!!

Every song. Every single song from this band is top-tier. Usually I find a new song, look up the band and find a few other songs I'm drawn to, but the majority of that band's other music isn't particularly appealing. But with Silversun Pickups, every song I've listened to has been a certified banger.

Radioactive Kind of on the same page as Chris.. and I did buy the album (and I've seen them twice live, once being the tour for Neck of the Woods) and it still doesn't compare to their first two albums for me. This is kind feeling like a mix of Neck and Swoon which is making me very optimistic though and I'm SUPER stoked for this album.

I felt Neck of the Woods lacked the grittiness I fell in love with on Carnavas.

I agree. I'm a little torn on the whole overly cinematic music video thing. I love well done music videos but there's way too many out there that try to be like films in their own right in my opinion. I just kind of miss the old days where you got some simple imagery with the actual song instead of this wannabe HBO fuckery.
