In this video I show you how to propagate vanilla orchids by cuttings. I had to transplant my vanilla orchid so I decided instead to take cuttings from it and start multiple plants. It is simple and easy to propagate vanilla orchids.

Just found your channel when looking for tropical herbs to grow! Here in the forests in eastern Colombia there’s wild vanilla. I’ve been growing a bunch of strange fruits since COVID started but it’s all relatively small still. Your channel is inspiring to see how it’ll all look in a few years!

You should do more videos. Being from Miami, there are not enough material to learn in CZcams. Most of the channels are from gardeners from the North so we have to do all in reverse down here. I enjoy watching you explain your mistakes because I make them too. Post more please.

I agree! I’m trying to figure all these gardening stuff out kind of blindly lol. I’ve found a few tiktokers that garden in Florida.
I’m trying to find hot weather varieties of your common cool weather plants.
So far I’ve just grown papaya, bananas, tomatoes, basil, and Cuban oregano!

If you haven't found them yet, Wild Floridian and the Urban Harvest both have great Florida growing content.
Edit: I do find this channel speaks best to growing more things that I can/want to grow in my climate 😊

You said you was leaving it in the soil because you didn’t want to cause shock to the roots. I think. So maybe there was roots. Who knows. I think it’s cool we can grow it here in Florida. Where did you get the plant????😊
