The state level meeting of Punjabi Adhyapak and Bhasha parchar Parsaar Society Haryana was organized on 13th July at Gurdwara Nauvi Patshahi Shri Dhamdhan Sahib District Jind under the leadership of State President Inderjit Singh Bhatti. In this meeting, Sunil Goyal the State General Secretary of the committee started the meeting by conducting the stage and read the agenda of the meeting and discussed the problems about Punjabi subject and teachers. He proposed before the House to honor the meritorious students who have scored 100 marks and above 95 marks in Punjabi subject in class 10th and 12th by organizing a state sessional program on behalf of the society. On which everyone gave conscent. During this, the constitution of the society was discussed in detail in the House. State President Inderjit Singh Bhatti expressed his displeasure over the unnecessary delay in implementing the three language formula in Haryana and demanded from the government that the three language formula must be implemented in Haryana state soon so that the students who want to study Punjabi and other languages ​​can get full benefit of it. He said that according to the notification of 2010, Punjabi language has the status of second language in Haryana, but it has not been implemented in practical form yet. He told that there are more than 1700 such primary schools in the Punjabi speaking areas of Haryana, where a large number of children are interested in studying Punjabi. He demanded that Punjabi language must be taught in the schools of Haryana state from the third class and Punjabi language must be given priority in Haryana offices. He further said that recently many Punjabi teachers were reverted after being promoted due to departmental mistake and the decision of the Honorable High Court has also come in favor of these teachers, despite this they are still waiting for promotion. Expressing anger, he said that as per rules, more than 200 Punjabi teachers should be promoted to the post of Punjabi lecturer, but till now Punjabi teachers have been disappointed. Now the department has asked for cases only up to 360 serial number for promotion, most of whom have either retired or have died while waiting for promotion. This has caused great anger among Punjabi teachers. He demanded from the government and the department that these cases should be asked for at least up to 600 seniority number and seniority list of eligible Punjabi teachers should be prepared as per their quota and promotion should be given as soon as possible. Along with this, the merit list of T.G.T. teachers must be corrected and made on the basis of merit as per rules. Society's vice president Dr. Harjeet Singh Gill demanded that all the capped posts of Punjabi teachers and lecturers be opened with immediate effect and regular teachers must be recruited on all the vacant posts and the ongoing recruitment process for the advertised 104 posts of Punjabi teachers should be completed soon and teachers should be made to join the schools. Dr. Kulwinder Padam, Dr. Rekha Rani and Balveer Sirsa presented their views on the current syllabus of Punjabi subject and emphasized on removing the shortcomings present in it. On this occasion, all the members decided that a meeting will be held with the Chairman of Haryana Education Board Bhiwani to implement the CBSE syllabus from 9th to 12th class from the next annual session and to remove the mistakes in the existing syllabus in this regard. YamunaNagar's district president Indraveer Singh demanded that the teachers whose third ACP cases are pending due to less than 50% marks, the department should call for such cases again and give the benefit to the affected teachers as soon as possible. Society's senior vice president Dr. Gurdeep said that if the government does not pay attention to the demands of Punjabi subject and teachers and does not resolve them soon, then they will be forced to take the path of struggle and in the coming assembly elections, an awareness campaign will be launched against the anti-Punjabi policies of the current government and the government should be ready to face the anger of the entire Punjabi society. During this meeting, society's Senior Leader Puran Singh Waraich, Dr. Balwinder Singh, Sikander Singh Sirsa, Jagdeep Multani, Dr. Rekha Rani, Manpreet Kaur, Ravinder Kaur, Neelam Rani, Sarvjit Kaur Hans Raj Hans, Anant Kaushal, Gopal, Nishan Singh, Boota Singh, Jagjatinder Singh, Mangat Rai, Amrik Singh, Baljinder Singh, Sukhdev, Devinder Singh Toor, Surinder Pal, Jagir Singh, Bhoop Singh and a large number of other members were present.
