I agree with everything that you have all said, I feel very down about the game and Sky coverage which was all about the big boys, they have lost the fairness card which is vital. The only thing that gives me a bit of a lift are the teams below us, we will stay up this season!
Unfortunately that's where we are in the food chain nobody really wants to watch palace v wolves on the box sky just got to be seen sharing the games about.

exactly what the Bournemouth fan you had on said is happening , for which you appeared confused and put back Dave, like you do when contributors don't tow the narrative line, this manager will take us down to levels that it will take years to get out of, Palace are a average to poor side, we gifted them the game, we will still be on 3 points after 7 games

It was an entertaining game but disappointing for me as a Wolves fan, considering that Palace only outplayed Wolves for about 30 minutes of the game. Wolves appeared to become complacent after equalizing. Palace dominated towards the end, and I believe the crowd's support played a significant role. Kilman needs to step up as a better captain and maintain team cohesion to prevent games from spiraling out of control like this one did. Credit goes to the Palace players; they never lost their focus and were prepared to seize the moment when it came they earned their points.
I wasn't happy with the game either to allow those goals poor deffending. Thought sasa should come on abit earlier. Hoping Santiago Buneo gets chance and Jean r b Silva can't score it's ashame but we need goals. Neto crosses we're good for the goals and tried. Better on the left needs cross more as crosses are dangerous need big man on when fully fit.

A lot of the same issues. For palaces first goal notice the lack of intensity from Semedo to stop that ball getting into the box. Dawson and Kilman were asleep to the near post run from Edouard. We looked a step off when it came to picking up runners, we didn’t seem to have any triggers when to press the ball. The whole defensive line wasn’t moving as a unit.
Nice to see 2 goals, but for the majority of the game we really lacked the intensity and positioning to cause palace many problems in and around the box.
Gomes and Lemina in a midfield 2 offers us next to nothing when we try to transition the ball from defence to attack.
Sarabia may as well not have been on the pitch. He’s got a lot to prove this year and in my opinion he’s yet to do so. Changes needed for the Liverpool game.

GON did a job for Bournemouth last season but we saw some lacklustre tactical decisions most of the season. He often slowed the game down and seemed to settle for draws or defend when we were only one goal up. Which invited pressure and caused us to throw away games. He’s a decent coach but tactical decisions are questionable at times.

Best we can say is that its early doors yet for GO’N, for all the new arrivals and for Sasa who is being gently nursed back after serious injury. If the new ones live up to their best I can see them all in the starting XI eventually - lets hope its not too late by that stage! Think we’ll be back in for another striker in January to be honest.

Last 2 of seasons we had a real drought of goals. particularly after Jota left. We need more supply into the box. We look scared to get forward. we moaned about Patrick Cutrone not being able to score or Silva when Jimenez was injured perhaps its the supply that's the problem. I would like to see Samado push on a bit more often. We are becoming very predictable with Neto and Ait-nouri tapping it back and forth. We could do with a bit more experience of the Premiership. I thing it may benefitted with Matt Doherty present. It's frustrating to watch but I feel they will improve. I just hope it's before the end of the season. ❤

No point having majority of possession if you don’t do anything with it. We seem to want to make passes for the sake of it, but end up going nowhere. Can’t remember us testing their keeper once in the first half and I just don’t see our front men scoring enough goals to keep us out of trouble. Our build up play is pedestrian, still too much sideways and backwards, ( allowing defences to get set ) there are no direct runners at goal from midfield or anywhere else, and no bugger ever SHOOTS….not at the goal anyway. Silva…..OMG…🙈 Gomes too lightweight for mine so changes needed. Doyle and Bellegarde probably in the mix now and might give us something different.

Flat's the word, Dave. Poor game - not quite sure what the strategy was. 5 goals but Palace's came from poor defending and Hwang's was off his shoulder. Very poor passing throughout by both teams. Gary really needs this two week break to integrate the new boys. Let's hope Liverpool have lost Saleh to the Saudis by then! Always Wolves!

Bring on LiVARpool! lol. Oh my God. We seem to be more interested in keeping the ball no matter 'what the pass' rather than get it up there quicker and have a go! Someone just have a shot not just try and pass it into the net! So frustrating at times. I've never seen such a strange way of playing for many years. All you have to do is watch ANY other team that they play and see how they try and attack and score, totally different! Hopefully we'll get there in the end, especially with these new players coming in. I'm particularly looking forward to seeing Enso coming in to the game. He does look good.

Boubacar Traore still feels like a bit of a stranger in this squad to me. He does seem a bit out of place. We controlled the ball for long sequences and were on track to steal something from this match, but defensive errors cost us. Olise's goal was well taken, but that ball in should be cut off by Semedo.

This game had a lot of problems with it from the beginning with the worry of the left and right backs booked early in the game which could have caused problems.
The final third has been our problem this season and we have played probably the worst palace side we have ever faced where they exploited our frailties in the side and Eze for palace was all over the place for them.
Pedro Neto for our side was the best player on the pitch creating the two goals we got and 3 we conceded we could have delt with but these problems need to be sorted out.
Still can’t understand why we brought Traore on he looked very lost should have brought on Sasa instead to try and get a goal too late his appearance my opinion.
There will be some changes for the game to come against Liverpool and we need another win and we at least found the net now but must cut out the mistakes we have made.
We hope the problems are sorted out quickly after the break and get some wins on the board.

Ait Nouri’s booking frustrated me greatly. It was such a stupid booking and it certainly impacted the intensity in which he and semedo defended.
@@stewkelsall yes it did with me could have had serious problems if that a red card appeared in the game should have reacted and taken one of as a precaution to stop getting a further card.
@@karlwhitehouse242 if we are to play a midfield 2 in my opinion we can’t have Lemina and Gomes in their together. They offered nothing in transitions. Sarabia may as well not have been there at all. I feel for Fabio because the level of service today was appalling.
@@stewkelsall would you go as far as having a new midfield pairing for the Liverpool game and see what happens there as we need to freshen it up and get some depth in the midfield. I agree the service of Fabio was poor non existent at some times of the game and if he is going to be made the main striker he needs services prompto.
@@karlwhitehouse242 if it’s to remain a 2 man midfield I wouldn’t be opposed to having Gomes or Lemina alongside Doyle/Bellegarde . Someone who can break up the play and someone that can transition the ball up the pitch.

Fully agree it's that final ball or just making space to get a shot away. The Defence second half was disappointing for me, it felt like the Brighton game when we switched off for 10 to 15 minutes and you just can't do that in the Prem. 🙄
Chris is spot on Silva needs balls he can run on to, he didn’t get any, the Fabio haters will be out in force now! Not enough crosses into the middle and no cutting edge balls to split their defensive lines for me.

Fabio had his chances one on one 3 times this season on 3 different games. He waits for balls to come to his feet. He doesn't find spaces. He is a lousy striker, period!! As for todays formation is like putting a bus,with the windows open!! The formation suck!! It created confusion with square passes. Gary must have been drunk when he drew up that formation!! A diamond formation is needed. We really are a sad side with a defensive manager that can't formulate a more attacking oriented side with actually good skills!! It made them close up and only played in the middle!!😂🎉

Our Defence is worrying and have to agree why bring in traore for Fàbio after we equalised thought we would go on to get all three points but I think O'Neil was playing for a draw and with lpool next and City 2 games later he sat back and we got what we deserved desperate defending

Forwards are on different wavelengths. We did the hard work and equalised then fell asleep when we should have got a lift and pushed on. Defensively undone so easily. Palace didn't look great either. To casual in defence and to timid up front.

I thought wolves played well the first half we was on at them straight away we got the ball inthe box but nobody was there . There first 2 goals came from our mistakes . Plus the lady daisy 1 which kill cleared . Neto had a good first half. We needed the doc in place of Semedo he knows how to run down that wing and can score he can defend aswell we could have done with the big lad on sooner for Netos crosses . Palace were there for the taking but our mistakes won them the game And as for their fans they only sing wen they're winning ok apart from the ultras at the start At molinaux our fans sing allday long

Strikers cannot score goals unless you get the service right, out done again by ourselves the same old left to right across the backs and back the other way why did we bring Docs?? back leave him on the bench, he scored twice in the week and why Because he’s in the right place right time reads the game well and is a right footed attacking wing back, him and samaedo would work well together and balance the team, serabia unfortunately just ain’t on it for me no real use of the right foot? fortunately he didn’t cost the earth, looked really dejected when he was bought off another who I see warming the bench most of this season, but the way we move the ball from the back to the front is painful to watch it’s to slow,there is no cutting edge anywhere we just don’t seem to have the ability to make teams panic and make mistakes, we can’t even keep the press on we give the ball away far to easy,?? we played great against Manchester united and since that game we have struggled, It’s going to be a long season?? when that winter break comes we need a few more attacking right footed players.😢😢😢let’s hope there’s a bit more from the new lads to shake us up.🤞🙏🙏🙏

We did score twice and it’s great to see ?? but with the likes of docs on the pitch who has great awareness and experience and is also our joint top scorer is a must until the other young lads learn,?? and playing in a 3-1-4-2 gives the two out side midfielders the chance to swap around on attacking runs with the defenders, ie bueno and Neto and samedo and docs, then you have many options to create the service for the forwards to get in better positions to score or creates more chances, for example docs reads the game well and as a wing back was in the right place at the right time to score both his goals in the cup, nobody was screaming at him get up there,?? Instinctively he was there because more bodies in there box means more chance of a goal, I personally don’t think lone strikers work anywhere in the modern game.👍
Dreadful defending, I’m sorry but we have to go back to a back 3, because we can’t score or create anymore with this back 4. If we can’t win we’ve got too make it so we don’t lose,and be hard to beat. Lamina was my MOTM, pleased for Cunah to get his goal. 6/10 for the game. No punch up front. To be fair mate, having the 2 midfielders of Gomes and Lemina, they don’t didn’t offer any creativity for us to attack. If we continue to play a 2 man midfield then I don’t believe we can have both lemina and Gomes in there together.

Feel like this game was a waste of a chance. Our possession was massive and Palace looked lost in that first half. But we created nothing.
Watching the guys play just leaves me feeling we have no clinical players and are toothless in attack. Two wing players who can cross the ball to start and we don’t play more of Sasa to receive. He needs 20-25 minutes to play so he can get more chances. Bringing the guy on with 5-8 minutes left is useless. He might only get 1 or 2 crosses in that time especially if we are behind and chasing since the opposition will get compact and defend well.
Hwang as ever is fantastic. We are going to lose him come January when teams come sniffing if he doesn’t get more game time when it’s obvious he is our real number 9 to me. The team need to work on his injury prevention to keep him fit for us.
Sorry to be a moaner Dave but I feel so disappointed. I am about to leave for work and feel like that is going to reflect our season to come. With Liverpool and City coming we are in big trouble. I honestly cant even see us beating Luton next.

We saw when sasa came on for the last ten minutes against Palace how he upset the defence when fabio just didn't try to get in the game
