Catch N’ Cook Cajun CATFISH Sandwich With Sriracha Tartar Sauce! (First Time)

CATCH: This was a more unusual day as I was able to catch 3 good eater sized catfish. I normally NEVER catch them at this creek, but since a storm had just passed they came out from the muddy holes and was able to get lucky. Also caught trout, bass and bluegill as well, so overall a good day. Had to keep the brown trout as it constantly kept trying to slip out of my hands and as I was releasing it fell and knocked himself out a bit, so I kept him as well and ate him off camera. Not a big deal, but I wish they were more chill to give a proper release.
COOK: I’ve had catfish before and am a big fan, but never had it on my channel, so was really excited for this. I went the most common route and my favorite, dropped them in Louisiana Cajun breading and fried them up and made a sandwich with pickles, tartar sauce and sriracha! Really flavorful and delicious. Highly recommend if you are still unsure about trying catfish. Very underrated fresh water fish to eat!
