    The "magic mud" is just glow in the dark oobleck. An easier way to make it is corn starch and water (but it won't glow)

    You can change number 8 with oobleck. Oobleck is just cornflour mixed with water.

    Dont add glitter to the tornado tube. It distrupts the smooth flow of the water and makes it choppy when it passes through the connector.

      For rainy weeks, not only days... Super fun for kids, they can put a pin on piece of wood, watch me boil water and sugar and then tey can watch a cup for amaying 170 hours. See? 170 hours of THRILL that cost nearly nothing...

      Dude hydrogen peroxide is like easy af to get. Just look in the pharmacy section of any store. It'll be near rubbing/medicinal alcohol.

    cool - I didn't know you could make oobleck with potatoes. TIP: not sure if this way will glow in the dark, but the potato mud can be done more quickly with the same liquid/non-liquid effect if you add small amounts of water to cornstarch.

    That potato mud can be made with a LOT less time and effort! Cornstarch, (and maybe a little glue, and a pinch of borax) instead of potato starch. And if you skip the "glow-in-the-dark" effect, you can use free ordinary water instead of seltzer. The lava lamp won't work very long, but at least it is safe. Ah, the baking soda volcano -- classic!

    And also with the water tornado experiment just get a transparent/translucent bottle, drink it until about a quarter of water is left, then spin it anti-clockwise. If it doesnt work then try doing it clockwise. If it still doesnt work then you either drank too much or need to drink more of the water. It saves time and money.
