Fair summary. Great away day out for us Stags and I'm sure we didn't expect a 4-1 if we're honest. I think our game plan worked making Slocoach kick it long all the time. (he had a shocker in the playoff final) and Clough probably saw that weakness, went man4man on the outfield players especially Langstaff and McGoldrick who were never in the game. Looking forward to the return at our place. GL for the rest of the season - apart from at Field Mill :)

Was gutted after the game but we have to remember and reflect that these players have all been massive heroes for the club and it was just one of those days where weaknesses were exposed by a good side. Improvements will be made as usual no doubt and the club will progress with a few new faces before the end of the season.

It was awful we couldn't get out our own half. Can't have many days like that 😢
You weren’t positive enough and fell apart after our second goal. Your back line was pedestrian and if we’re honest, we could have scored 6/7. Nonetheless, credit where it’s due…you’ve had a tremendous start to the season and the vast majority are pleased that you’re back in the FL.
By the way, Meadow Lane looked a picture.

After your goal you stood on the back foot and didn’t do much, you tried to play it out for too long, all we had to do was keep pressing and you collapsed
