Thanks Nikko. Literally the only video i could find on the hyzer flip
This is by far the best visual of a proper hyzer flip.
Some of the best tutorials to be found. Great video, clear, concise language. Would love to see these more often.
this is what many videos get wrong. when i hear something explained, and see a guy standing still while he shows some form etc. i really want to see this as well! i wanna see someone do it too! - sometimes its like 1 hour driving clinique without ever seing anyone driving, its DRIVING me insane!... This is perfect. thank you.
Invaluable hyzer flip lesson, simple and short. An incredible rip too, thanks for the inspiration.
Dude this is a great little tutorial!! Thank you!
So funny how i wanted to comment about how simple and beneficial this video is and it looks like everyone else beat me to the punch.
Great vid, thanks
Thanks Nikko hope all is well haven't seen ya for awhile.
Holy crap! Penn Valley is one of my local courses! And in another video you're in Auburn, CA....what a trip!
Great video! My next assignment is to learn this shot.
That Havoc just got RIPPED on a hyzer. Beautiful.
How about telling us *what it is* first? What does it mean to do a hyzer flip shot, exactly?
Danny Landrum the hyzer flip is a shot that is released on a hyzer angle with an under stable disc which goes from a hyper angle to flat or even turning a bit. The more under stable the more likely it is to turn a bit or even go from hyzer to turning to the right (rhbh) completely. This all depend on your arm speed. My go to is the innova road runner
I have a mean Hyzer Flip with my Innova Champion Beast
Yea man...I throw the DX beast, works a treat for me. Been trying with the sidewinder but it's just too flippy.
What's the benefit of choosing a hyzer flip over a more flat shot with a stable disc? Does it fly differently?
the hyzer flip will generally go further. Understable discs tend to have the most glide (i.e. Innova Mamba speed 11 glide 6 turn -5 fade 1). Also, understable hyzer flips are the best for long tunnels because there isn't much left to right movement. Some would argue that you could throw a stable disc down a tunnel, which is true, but it takes much more power to keep a stable disc straight as compared to an understable one. The stable disc thrown flat will tend to have more fade at the end.
Stay loose baby 😎
