Rubaroc

Dale Kreviazuk from UV Pools shows you what Rubarco looks like. We're in an indoor pool here in Winnipeg where we installed Rubaroc for a customer. Rubaroc is a synthetic rubber mixed with urethane. The customer approached us looking for something that can go over their pool area that was comfortable to walk, on slip-resistant and safe with the pool water having chlorine in it being splashed. What we did here is we took out all the tile from around the pool and then we trowel the Rubaroc in place right over the substrate which was the concrete. Now they have a maintenance-free surface that doesn't have to be resealed and they can sweep it, vacuum it, or wash it with the garden hose to clean up any any spills.
