@@Yodaracing1 Fitted an Airtec intercooler last weekend and I got a Cobra 3" turboback in the post this morning that's going on tomorrow. Also got 395cc injectors for now as I've heard 613cc aren't efficient at stage 3 power, only after ~270. What sort of power did you upgrade your clutch/flywheel mate?
@@daze6138 you should be good for around 230-250 then and upgraded my clutch when I went from 230-300 lol

Hi mate or should i say Guten Tag 👍🏻 vents I used are focus mk2 rs vents hope this helps
@@Yodaracing1 Here in northern germany (I live in Bremen) we allways say "Moin!" no matter what time of the day it is. That is a universal phrase in low german. :) But never say that to somebody in bavaria, you will get strange looks. :D Thanks for the very cool infos at your channel and the tip with the vents. @@Yodaracing1 Thanks, practising for about 25 years, every day by watching just the non -dubbed versions of movies, tv shows, having contact with ppl from a lot of countrys. I am at C1 level. :) There will be a lot more with my car. Had the maxton spoiler extender just painted in the original Opel color of my car to let it look as from the factory and not added afterwards. :) And the engine will also get a forged upgrade. Aiming for about 300-330 bhp and ~400-450nm of torque.
Step 1:buy a corsa vxr/ Astra h vxr😂 good information giving mate keep it up, just brought another corsa vxr but brought a artic edition which will be 400-500bhp😂

Nice video man. I’ve currently got a stage 1 vxr, 395 injectors and uprated spark plugs, and I’ve just cut the 2 boxes out of my exhaust so bodge job basically lol. Going back to wg motorworks as that’s where I got it done, for a 3inch piper system, non res and sports cat so good for m.o.t reasons, and map tweak so basically stage 2. Currently running 203bhp as mine was running quite lean on the day, probs down to bodge exhaust haha. What bhp do you reckon I could get? Should be between 220-235 right?
Are u forged ?? I would say u should get around 220-230 depending on how healthy the engine is etc
@@Yodaracing1 nope not forged, tbh, if I was going stage 3, I would forge it, but no need to at this stage I don’t think.

@@Yodaracing1 Yh, it’s been fine since I’ve owned it and the cars only done 27k miles so should be fine, I don’t drive it hard all the time, but yh, he will probs just check it before going ahead but can’t see it being bad tbh.

Who did you get to fit your cams valve springs and do the map after fitting the turbo

Do the cams adjust by the cogs or do you need new cogs and how much did you pay for the cams and springs mate ?
Stock pulleys think it was around £1000 for both
hi maybe you can tell why my bonnet vents have small white specs on them they were black when fitted could it be heat from the engine thanks.....
Cheap vents possibly I painted mine to match the car

Thinking of going for the stage 3 airtec one tho?reccomend?Induction kit with 80mm maf, got TurboSmart actuator on the turbo already, will get cams when I go to map it. Going Wayside so they supply and fit right?and just got laid off cosmetic stuff atm

Getting 300bhp + isn't cheap on the Corsa vxr . Would you do it again knowing what you do or would you get something different ? I've only had mine a for 8 months but really love the car.i think the most I'll try to get is 240-250bhp👍👍👍👍
Tough question tbh 300 was always the goal did I think it would be this expensive no do I have any regrets tbh no it’s been a fun journey the problem it’s left me is that I want more power 😂😂

Think it might be time to go all out on my old girl, it's playing up when it warms up and I lean on it abit it whine's . At first I thought water pump but I'm 90% sure it's the turbo with out looking at the shaft it doesn't use oil though ? So it my be time to spend some money🙈 I'd be happy with 250-260 bhp I'm sure you could get that on a standard top end.
Yea 270-280 is possible with a hybrid without cams speak to krs there is a link in the description for their Fb page 👍🏻
Do you know how much torque the crankshaft can handle?
Crank ? Pretty sure the stock crank is used in high power builds 500 bhp etc
@@Yodaracing1 Thans for the info! Someone said the crankshaft over 320ftlb would be unreliable.. Im rebuilding my engine so i was a bit scared xD

Seems like an awful lot of money must need to be a right cosa fan to brave out that cash for 300bhp corsa haha think buying a good vxr for 4,5k and spending 5,6k on it like you could get a bmw 135i or even a cheap mercedes a250 wich both come with more power stock

what about heat soak....
I don’t have any issues with that at all car has made several runs on the dyno one after the other and the power didn’t really change significantly I do have Bonnet vents though which probably helps but the weather doesn’t really get hot enough to worry about heat soak to much 😂

@@tinobarbera9420 u should be fine then Obvs your gonna get a little heat soak if your sat in traffic on a hot day etc but once it’s moving again should cool back down etc
